What interested me was that they have passed the UL 1642 safety standards.Table of Contents for UL 1642
Not sure if they are made in Japan or just made by a Japanese company. I would think that name brand batteries would be made to a higher standard than the usual Chinese xxxxfires which seem to have some quality issues. I'm thinking about ordering some and comparing them with some AW's i just ordered. At about $10 they are also slightly cheaper.
