Yeah yeah I know. Stay loyal. But curiosity has the best of me. Love my X2 batteries but still not a huge fan of the X2 clearos. Wondering if anyone has tried the new Halo Triton tank on their X2 battery. They look very similar to the X2 clearo but have replaceable heads. I know with the height of the battery post there is issues running other 808/ego delivery systems on the X2. Not sure if the Triton tank suffers that same dilemma. Anyone try one???

I have the triton kit and was told the x2 would work on the triton so I would assume it would work the other way around. Thats just an assumption though. I can tell you that the triton tanks seem like top notch products. I have several in use right now and I haven't had any issues with them. They don't leak and they offer great throat hits.

these look like a t2/x2 hybrid top coil lol, can anyone post a picture of theirs on a si spinner/x2?

I agree. My biggest concern is the connection. In another thread people have tried other ego delivery systems on the X2 that didn't work because of the height of the battery post on the X2.The only one I hve seen confirmed to work without an adapter is the Kanger T2.

Ok just read this review on the triton set-up and it says the Triton tankns are halo specific.

The New Halo Cigs ‘Triton’ eCigarette – The Review

Also e-mailed halo support and got this response:

I am sorry but we are not familiar with that brand (Smokeless Image). However, our Triton Tanks are a VGO connection. If the connection is the same you should be good.

I find it hard to believe that they have never heard of one of their biggest competitors.

I believe the Halo Triton tanks/batteries are compatible with the X2 tanks/batteries and vice-versa.

I also find it hard to believe they haven't heard of SI. Halo is a rather recent company and at first I thought many of these companies were owned by the same parent company (SI/Altsmoke/Halo). There are several similarities with each one, so much so that if they are NOT the same company, then there has to be some "franchise-like" setup for them. I find it suspicious that many use the same ISP, hosting company, web designer, etc and them not be the same company. :)

I enjoy the SI site, and they still get all my money, however, the Halo site is pretty sweet! And it is basically the same gear. The difference is that the Tritons have the word "Halo" on them and as a gamer that sets my heart alight. :)
