Anyone try Diatomaceous Earth?

You darken the room and hold a light up behind the egg. You can see the shadow of the future chick growing inside the shell. Over time (21 days) you can see it getting bigger until it completely fills the shell before it hatches. It's called candling because they used to use candles to check whether the egg is fertile and developing ..

That would be so cool!!!

Yeah I have been candling them! It is really amazing! They grow so fast... I also have a dozen under a broody hen right now so I am going to be overrun with chicks here really soon.

You guys are all so nice to welcome me back:) :) :)
