I used a T3 most of yesterday and had a good first impression. It took a while to get used to the cool vapes as this is the first bottom-coil clearo I've used--not an issue, just an observation. The flavor was very good. Vapor could have been better; I was getting more from CE3s. Perhaps more time is needed? I'm looking forward to playing around with it more.

Edit: Forgot to add that the tip has a very large hole. If you use this and like to pockets your PV or loosely put it in a bag/purse it will get lint and other undesirables in it.

You could put a carto condom over the tip, just a thought.

Just a quick T3 update. I've used it exclusively for several days now and if anything it's getting better. More fog and flavor. After 5-6 tanks, I rinsed it out with hottish (tech term for a very specific water temp) water blew it dry and reloaded. It took a couple of hits to get back to the juice, but it's good as new. I decided to join the really dark side :sneaky: and spring for an Ego 1000mah battery to eliminate the rather ill fitting adapter required for the Volt interface. It'll be interesting to see how or if the 0.4V voltage reduction affects anything. I'll update after a week or so. BTW, NO LEAKS!:D

The wick should be allowed to dry thouroughly and then five or six short dry burns shouldd be performed to remove the char from the coil. Blowing on the coil after the burns also removes it better.

Eh, despite your "should be"s, it can be cleaned and used, without drying and without dry burns, very successfully.

That's what I do also using hottish (being sure to observe the tech term for that very specific water temp) water, blowing it dry and reloading, although I do this each night before retiring (which I am already) since this is very easy to do and takes only a couple of minutes. (Now let me see if I can find any more therefores, whatnots, howevers, or anything else I can add to the previous sentence to make it even longer... :D)

I must have gotten lucky and snagged one of the last T3s in captivity from Stormy's. I'm using the SI Volt X2 batts which require an adapter for the T3. Adds a little length, but no biggie. The flavor is excellent, no burning and voluminous fog. Best of all, NO LEAKS. Sorry for the shout, but every clearo I've tried thus far has had some kind of leaking issue. Grant it, I'm only on my 4th tank refill, but this rig just became my go-to for at-home vaping. Easy to fill right out of the bottle and in combination with my 900mah, I'm good for a couple of days.

You may have sold me when you said easy to fill right out of the bottle. I love my Phoenix bottom coils, but I hate the syringe-fill part of it. It's difficult filling the syringe from my juice bottles without making a mess; filling the CE-3 part of it is pretty easy. But I won't take a syringe out of the house with me; that means I have to pre-fill for sure. I'm already using an adapter on my 900mah X2 Volt battery, so that part wouldn't change.

Sounds like I need to try the T3.

I think you'll like the T3. The vaopr production is similar to the CE3 with a little better flavor IMHO. I have noticed that the T3 starts to give out when the juice level drops below 1 ml. I'm guessing the bottom feeder sludge may be too thick to wick properly. But only a guess. I just rinse out the sludge and refill as needed. But it's nice to ditch the syringes and fill right from the bottle. Be sure to get a couple of coils while you're at it. I don't have enough miles on mine to know how long the coils will last. I may have a bum 900mah Volt because the T3 seems to do it in rather quickly. I vape constantly and get about 4-5 hours out of a 650.

I've had my T3 for 2-1/2 weeks now and still using the original head. I just rinse it out each night, refill the tank, and vape. I do not dry the head nor dry burn so it takes about 4 - 6 draws to get the water out and for it to start vaping normally again.

I do notice it gets a little weak at around 1ml or so left in the tank, so I just refill before it reaches that point. With the tank upside down I fill just before the liquid reaches the top of the air tube. That puts right at 3ml in the tank.

That is basically how I clean mine too. I'm on day 22 and I haven't dry burned mine yet and it is still vaping very good. I have only vaped menthol in it so it doesn't gunk the coils as quick as other juices. I vape mine until it is close to empty though without a problem.

I'm loving mine still. I changed out my coil last night, and cleaned the tank for the first time. I'd gone through about 4 or 5 fills without cleaning. It didn't absolutely need it, but it wasn't vaping at 100%. Since I had an extra coil, why not. I'll do this one the same way, and then swap back to the original. I'm not one for cleaning after every tank, mainly because I don't change flavors very often. I do believe this is my favorite atomizing device. Easy to fill, easy to change, easy to clean and vapes like a champ. Can't beat it for the price.

I got my T3's today. I guess they are a newer version since they are 1.8ohm and also have the ml scale upside down for filling. Taking them apart immediately (that's how I am) revealed that the wick is very easy to change, even easier than on the Vivi Nova. Don't know yet about recoiling though. The coils in the two that I opened were not very consistently made, and I wouldn't be surprised if some came too crooked and the coil would short (or give bad flavor due to hot spots). I straightened the coils with a needle, and they are firing just fine.

Bamboo wicks do not seem to work at all with T3. They wick way too well, and will flood the coil and leak, even if the wick is so tight at the casing that it will give dry hits. Bit disappointed because of that. Although, the factory setup does taste quite a bit better than the burning grommet on the Vivi Nova.

Unscrewing the bottom half a round got rid of the dry puffs I got when the tank got past 1.5ml. I just vaped literally to the last drop! I really like that, as no juice is wasted to the long thick wicks as with Vivi Nova. Screwing the bottom part open a bit does work well as a juice flow control.

All in all I'd say the T3 is good, but it is slightly temperamental as any bottom coil clearo would be. Different temperaments than the Vivi Nova (Mini), and more manageable. The "hot" vape of the T2 burnt my lips a few times, the draw was way too airy, and the performance was not consistent. Even on a 3.3V eGo battery the T3 performance (VTF) is pretty much amazing.

At 8cm the T3 is the tallest ato/clearo I've seen, and I don't like that. Looking at the design I'd say they could've done 6cm easily. A mini version with a 1.5ml tank could measure 4.3cm. I would've definitely gone with those instead. I might end up sawing 1cm from the mouthpiece, as I don't think it would disturb the performance.

Edit: Oh, and fluff the wick ends! With the metal post seated and the silicon seal out of the way, fluff the wick ends evenly. Made the VTF quite a bit better on mine.
