I think it's to stop juice spitting up the tube.

Well, it doesn't succeed in stopping juice getting to the tube. I think most of the gurgling comes from the juice in the tube. And that's why I think holding the T3 almost horizontal removes the gurgling. As I couldn't figure out a reason for the tube to be so long, I cut the tube short on one of my heads. It did reduce the gurgling, and I no longer get juice in the mouthpiece.

dredd0606, I also think your eGo battery is a fake/counterfeit. T3 sits perfectly in my Joyetech eGo-C 650mAh battery, bought early this year. The outside threading on mine is clearly tighter and longer than on your battery.

Thanks for the flavor wick removal post. I was about to be very disappointed. Funny thing about vaping... There is always something you gotta mod to make things work lol. No more burnt juice! Now, to figure out how to stop it from whistling... Lol my dog keeps looking at me crazy, worst case scenario i could use it as a training device while im vaping.
Did you figure out how to stop the whistling? I've opened another T3 (the first one is still going strong after three weeks) and it performs stellar...but it is whistling like a tea pot on anything except the very lightest of toots (as it were). Didn't have that with the first one.... I tried pluging each airhole in turn, but it remained...even with two airholes covered.

Wow, that's interesting. I haven't bought any recently, and still have a few spares, so I guess I've been lucky so far. I may try to get some tomorrow if I get paid early as I do only have the one tank, and dread my new 20 lb mod (ok, it just feels like 20 lb, not really that heavy) rolling off something and demolishing the tank.

So what do you guys mean by flipping the silicone cap over. Do u mean so it points up instead of down? I don't get it. Can someone explain? I really want to like these but I have no luck with them, I think some of the juice I use is too thick maybe. I get a lot of dry hits so I've been sticking with the T2s.

Take the silicone cap that sits over the wicks, remove it, turn it upside down and replace. I haven't tried it cause I've only had a couple of dry hits on the approx 60ml I've run through the first one I got. Instead of turning it upside down, I just raised it up a very tiny bit so that it wasn't sitting down right on the wick but just a hair above it. Never a dry hit since, and I've been using anywhere from 30/70 vg/pg to 70/30 vg/pg....

First thing is to reverse the silicone cup. Once reassembled, it will actually be inserted on the center post in the tube. The second is to remove one of the flavor strands. Simply wiggle the metal post to remove it. You'll then have access to the strands. There are several strands lying loose on top of the wicks. Simply remove one and reassemble. It sounds complicated but once you try it, it's really simple. These two adjustments make this the ultimate clearo /tank inmho.

WHEN i turn it upside down it really leaks a LOT...

Make sure you have everything tight. Anything will leak if it's not tightened enough. Also make sure the center post is pushed all the way in, and that the center post on the bottom of the coil is up in there tight (it has a flat head screwdriver slot so you should be able to try tightening that up)

Although it looks like one, it's not a screw. It just pushes in place. The slots are just to enable airflow when a battery is connected.
