Anyone try the new Protank 3 yet?

Just wondering if people are finding it significantly better than the Protank 2.

It has dual coils in the head I guess... and fills from the top.

Anyone?

Nope. Still using the PT2. The PT3 hasn't gotten very good reviews; something about the way the coils are mounted in the head, one above the other, causes juice burning taste.

Don't listen to the reviews. I was skeptical myself because of bad experiences with kanger evod/protank1/protank2. Those all gave me dry muted hits. They got great reviews but they all sucked. The protank 3 blows all of those away. I am getting awesome flavor and vapor production and i am able to vape at 11 watts on my MVP2 without any dry hits even when chain vaping and thats with all flavor wicks still intact. No leaks whatsoever on my 50/50 eliquid. The other cool thing about the protank 3 that i havent seen mentioned is that it is backwards compatible. You can use the old pro tank/evod coils inside them. I even like it better than the aspire which struggles above 8 watts.

Totally worth it, IMO. It is also backwards compatible. If you want to use your old protank single coil heads, you can.

I have been using the protank 3 for over a week now it does not fill from the top it does have a good flavor and more vapor then a standard protank 2 coil and I have had no burnt taste or flooding wit it straight of of the box, I used a 30pg 70vg chocolate also a banana flavored juice in it

I am a fan of protank in general and just got the protank 3. It has a lot more throat hit and it's strong!! If that's what you're looking for I recommend it. If you like protank 2 and are looking for a stronger hit check it out.

Can anyone compare the PT3 to the iClear30? I am vaping the 30 at this time, and have the PT2. The PT2 definitely is a bit airy and cool for my tastes, but the iClear30 can be a bit too tight of a draw.

I vape 50/50. It wicks great with 50/50 unlike the previous pro tanks. No dry hits even when chain vaping. I can run my MVP up to 11 watts with no issues.

IMO, much better flavor. More heat, more throat hit at higher watts.

I wanna see a picture of that coil setup. I hope it's something we can DIY ourselves. If the MSRP on the PT2 coil is around 4-5bucks, this thing must be 7bucks. And that would be too much. I replace them almost everyday. It's a good thing I coil my own wire after daily wick changes.

I just pulled the trigger on the PT3. Will definitely be giving this thing a good run to see how it performs compared to the dual-coil iClear30 and the old PT2 I've got here.
