I have been searching around this board, other E-Smoking boards as well as YouTube for reviews on The Vapor Pro's 510 Magnum PV but could not find anything on them. Nada.

Does anyone have this? How is it? It looks pretty slick. Not sure if I'm allowed to put a pic of it here on the board.

I'm shopping for a higher voltage PV. The silver bullet is out of stock, don't care for the box style, just shopping around and stumbled upon this one.

Any opinions would be appreciated. I have sent Art of The Vapor Pro an e-mail yesterday with questions but haven't heard from back yet.

that is a DSE-905 mod with a 901/510 adapter and 510 atomizer.

its a nice mod..i have one...well im selling one in the classifieds.

it is rather small and the battery it uses is the same size as a AA battery...not the same type.

if you any more questions about it...ask away :)

oh.forgot....this is not a HV mod...it takes 1 3.7v battery that comes with the kit.

I've looked at the Chuck and at the Silver Bullet. I think the 510 Magnum is about $30 cheaper and looks just as good in terms of utility. I'm going to buy one when I get the money. I don't mind mentioning Art's business (thevaporpro.com) - he ships quick and his prices are very good. My mom bought a 510 kit from him for me for $50 plus $6 shipping (USPS priority).

Why are you selling yours may I ask? You can PM me on that and perhaps let me know how much you want for it. I'm still deciding. Waiting to hear from more people. Thanks.

Yeah, I noticed it is selling for $69 w/batteries which is a great deal. But I've learned that you get what you pay for so I'm a little leary on making the wrong decision here. It does boast that you can get 2 days of charge and that sounds great. That's pretty subjective depending on how much you vape but still if I get 1 day, I'm happy.

I've never used that store before so I don't know anything about his practices or product. As was said above though it is just a DSE-905 with a 901 to 510 adapter and 510 atty instead of the standard 901 atty that usually comes with that unit.

First thing I would say is that you definitely want to check whether it is a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd version of the DSE-905. From the pictures it looks to be either a v1 or v2. If it's the v1 I would look elsewhere as there were many issues with that version.

As far as the price goes there are lots of places you can look for the unit but just as an example. You could get the same unit from LitecigUSA and the kit would come with a 901 atty and you could add on an adapter and 510 atty and get it all for the same price. Which means you would be getting a second atty with it for the same price. Or if you want it with just the 901 which comes standard with it you wouldn't have to buy the adapter or 510 atty and would be getting it for $15 cheaper. As I said that is just one example of one place I know of off the top of my head and there are others that carry the same unit.

The important part is if you're curious about the device do research on the DSE-905 and remember before you buy it anywhere to double-check which version of it they carry.

As far as the unit itself goes I have a 905 v2 and have had no issues with it at all. One thing you want to be careful of with it is to not leave it turned on and unattended for long periods of time as it has a cleaning cycle that makes it very hot. Always best to use the main on/off power switch to cut power or disconnect the atty or battery when not in use.

edit: I forgot to add... in order to get two days use out of 1 charge on a 14500 battery you would have to be an extremely extremely light vaper. Personally I get about 5 - 6 hours out of one charge.

Yeah when I use mine I use it pretty much constantly and that is the life I get from it.

I don't personally have any experience with the SB but I know I was recently looking at the Altsmoke site and it says it takes an 18650 for 3.7v vaping. I know that I've seen people who use an 18650 in their Chuck say it can last them at least 2 full days so I imagine it would be about the same with the SB.

I'm sure if you check the Altsmoke sub-forum here AltSmoke - E-Cigarette Forum you'll find a more conclusive answer.

I e-mailed Art from TheVaporPro and as far as the versions is concerned:

The Silver one is the V2 model - cut off switch on the bottom
The Black on is the V3 model - no cut off switch

So, you must be mindful what color you order if you want a certain version.

He's been selling them for 2 months and haven't had any problems with either of them.

I think I'll get one down the road. But for now, I'm going with the Black Silver Bullet from Rob at AltSmokes. This one seems to be one of the most popular along with the BB.

Yes, I did - it was on TW's site. The replacement batteries are even more than what I"m paying now for my regular 510. I was looking for a economical way around batteries as well as battery life. Isn't the Ego a 905? If so, then I think that the 510 Magnum which is a modified 905 would have been closer to what I was looking for.
