I have 4 DTC tanks. I've had no issues to date. I also have the Smok cartos (single coil, dual hole 3.0 ohm.) I like the flavors out of my cartos. I would say it's a different experience from a bottom coil clearo like my PT2's.

The draw is tighter, the flavor is a bit fuller. I do want to say, it's very different prepping and filling a carto then a clearo tank. There are links all around the forums here to give you tips on the right way. I've burned a few cartos (it happens) so get yourself a few replacements.

If you really like the carto experience after trying the Smok tank, there's IBTanked.com. My friend has 5 or so, and I really like them. You can get many custom configurations on the IB Tanks, where Smok has a few colors and sizes.

The coil and the hole punch is key. thicker juices need a bit more space to draw. Sweeter and thinner juices may only need 1 hole to draw. All this comes with experience. I'm learning a TON from here and friends who have been vaping for a few years.

I've got a couple of plastic smoktech DCTs but no pyrex. The plastic tanks work great. Don't know why the pyrex wouldn't do as well or better. 'Tank Eating' juice is the only consern with plastic.

More than likely, those are polypropylene, so you don't have to worry about cracking. I've owned the same tanks for about a year now..no issues except first one has inside of top cap orings breaking.

Edit.. forgot point of me posting. I own one, and friends own them too. Only complaint I have is that the bottom cap is thinner than other DCTs.. about 0.5mL will still be in it before you need to refill. You can try punching your own cartos for that though.

If I may offer a voice of my own experience. If looking for an inexpensive way to try a cartotank, the Smoktech Pyrex Cartotank will give you a glimpse of what it can be. Knowing what I know of them, I'd skip right by those and go directly to an IBTanked pyrex tank instead. It may be twice as much as that ST, but in the end you'll be glad you did.

The Smoktech Pyrex's end caps can't be removed, the tank is all one piece - tank and end caps. This makes cleaning the tank a PITA. Should you one day have to replace the o-rings in the caps, I dare not think of the results. The tanks are more slippy-slidey on the carto than you would see on a higher grade of tank, probably leading to some major juice spillage.

Look here
4.5ml DCT Tank) for 35mm Cartomizers

I have all the colors in both the large and small glass sizes.
They are very nice. Give the same vape as the more expensive ones.
With that said, i have three ibtanks and love them.

But in the beginning, i could not justify the cost.

My suggestion is to get one slim and one mega size.
I now use them for letting friends and family try.mkinda like loners. I also go thru alot of juice flavors so i will often fill these with new flavors im not sure if i like or not as my ibtanks carry my adv's. I also like the colors of them look good with some jwrapped batteries i have.
I also have green and purple but they are only at fasttech.com for $6 a piece and they dont have the logo on them, othereise they are exactly the same just search dct and you will see them. The grren one on smoktech looks like ouke but in person it is an emerald color green.

The one ond only con i have found with the ibtank is that if my drip tip is not extra tight fitting i cannot get my tank off it will just spin.
I have to finish the tank and take it almost apart so i can spin The actual carto.ot a problem if your drip tip is tight fitting tho.

So i suggest giving them a try but if you find you like them go look at ibtanked.!
Also ibtank has the best prices in cartomizers from what i found anyway.

And ps i had some polypro crack with cinnamon red juice! So i wont use anything but glass now.
