just wondering if anyone has used the 3.6 volt passthrough ?
also would like to know if you have used other passthroughs ( 5v or 3.6 ) and can compare them.
I think I want a 3.6 that way it is closer to the 808 batts as far as temp and hit.

1 last thing , have you used it on the Volt 1.5 wall adapter , or other 2.0 wall adapter or Powered USB Hub , I would really like imputs on that too.

well you are probably looking to hear from the customers but I use all of these myself regularly.

The 3.6v regulated passthrough... hits exactly like the first hit from a freshly charged VOLT batt with every hit. Also the Manual does not have a cutt off.

I feel 5v is really not needed on our cartos ever... I have used the 5v and you go through much more nicquid trying to keep the cartos from getting that dry taste. 5v is not really a good match to our cartos and ohms. The VOLT cartos are perfectly balanced to perform like fog machines on 3.6 volts.

The 1.5a wall adapter works great :) fires the passthrough will no isses :p

I would buy one today if it included the 1.5 wall adaptor in that $14.95 + Shipping Price ;)
but yeah I was hoping some people hear used them. After seeing a couple of bad reviews of them not working or dying after a very short period has got me a little worried.

I hear ya... where did you see those reviews? :(

Also the autos were very sensitive to liquid more so then regular batts... the manuals are much tougher that is why we switched them all to manuals ... I am rough on my gear and mine has been going strong for 5 months now... it is a manual.

I am sure some other posts will pop in here as well :p

Wish I could help you out on that, but to tell the truth I never felt the need for the PT because I enjoy the batteries so much.
What I can tell you is that SI always stands behind what they sell and you'll not find better CS.

I haven't used the 3.6 volt passthrough from SI, but I have used a 5v from another vendor. I didn't really care for it because it heated up the juices too much for my tastes. I'm thinking of getting the SI passthrough, someday! I have a USB hub that I plan on using for it, too. As for any problems with SI's equipment, they are really good at replacing things. I recently had a USB charger stop working and CS took care of it ASAP for me!

1,5 Volt?
You mean 1.5Amps.
Your computer will go nuts (show warnings that you draw much power), your USB port can supply a total of 500mA current and that is the total sum of the usb ports. If you continue requesting so much power you will blow up regulators on your motherboard.
It is better to run those bat's with large power supplies (1.5A and above) or big batteries, e.g. a car battery :vapor:

better safe then sorry :p

here is our passthrough demo video and a review steel jan did of it earlier:

volt is the Name Brand and 1.5 is implied the amps. So I meant what I said. And I know all about the recommendations.
every seller says you can run them off your computer and many have with no problems. I of course wont take that chance but there are other options.

Oh sorry i thought you ment 1.5V.

Ohms law: I=V/R
I (amperage) = Passthrough 3,6V / 2.8 Ohms Cartomizer

That gives us a 1.28571 Amperes so i guess yes it's not a good idea to use a pc, even if it works the pc will limit the power drawn from the USB port to protect the circuits so your vape will actually cough up some vapor.

I will be running it off a powered hub at times other times will be a 1.5 wall adaptor. I've tried the 5 volt passthroughs & dont like them because they cook the juice. They are just too hot.:2c:

Yeah , I didnt even want to try the V2 Passthrough because it is 5v. So I have narrowed it down to either the Volt or the Bloog.
I do love my V2 Products and will always order their Menthol Juice. ( it is the BEST ). and they do have the Best Warranty.
I am on a very limited budget. I watch our handicap child 24/7 and the ONLY reason I started vaping in the first place was to SAVE the family money. I was a packaday smoker ( down to 1/2 pack or less now ). only been doing this for less than a month. But would like to get off them completely. I feel a passthrough will help me with that. I am an 808 guy and have no interest in turning this into a "hobby". I found the juice combo I like and even started using 901t atty/tanks to go along with the Cartos. But I know batteries dont last forever , so this wont be a 1 time purchase on the passthrough but possibly a life long buyer.

You won't go wrong with any Volt purchase.

But thought I would give 1 of these 2 companies to "Earn" my business and am hoping 1 will decide to make me a deal I cant refuse. I am on a very limited budget.
