I'm looking at buying a Cylon VV from electronicstix, anyone on here using one? I would love to know your opinion/experience with one.

I am still new to the intermediate/advanced vaping world.
After talking to the employee there he recommended it as a good starter to the VV world, with the obvious intention of going with a higher end unit later.
It's basically a lavatube. That said, if you are concerned about it, it will not go over 2.5amps, it will still fire but at a safe level if you attempted to go over 3amps. This is considered a negative if you really like using dual coil carts.
Since this is my first step past eGo batteries I felt it was a major improvement to what I have used in the past. I love mine, it feels good in the hand, overall build quality is very good. Its been very consistent and the vapor is honestly just amazing... Again though I am comparing to my eGo batts.
I don't think you can go wrong as long as you're okay with the limitations with it.
P.S. if you can. Buy one of their J-tanks... They are amazing and built by hand in house! Very sturdy, very tight and works like a charm!

Nice - Did you buy it from Electronic Stix? I'm looking at either their full sized one or the cylon mini. Just gotta save a bit of money lol
Yep.
They have a shop near me so I got to see and touch before I bought. It has no markings or branding on it, which I like. The kit I got came with two 18650 batteries (no brand that I can tell), wicked tank/with cart, stainless drip tip, carry case and charger.
Not sure what version it is but it has VV (as you know), battery voltage check, atom/cart check and voltage lock. (Plus all the other features on most lavatube type VVs)
The mini looks good as well. Both come in the Chrome or Black Chrome. I am torn for not getting the black chrome, it looks very sexy!
Even though it came with its own tank (which is not bad really, it has wicks and vapes well), I still bought one of their J-tanks and its wonderful!
(EDIT, LOL I just saw you are in Ogden! Plus I see you have a J-Tank)

I just ordered a mini in black chrome with two vivi novas. I'm getting tired of buying carts all the time and replacing e-go batts that stop working. Thanks for reporting a good experience!

I have tried low res and high res atomizers and it's so nice to find the sweet spot for each piece of equipment.
The vape is very good.
Just got the mini. Yeah black chrome is sexy but I think finger prints will be my mortal enemy. I'll report back after a few vapes.

So here it is in all it's glory. Love this thing! Hits like a champ. Love the vivi Nova as well. Definitely have to let it soak for a bit with VG juice. Vaping @ 4.0 volts with the 1.8 ohm atty and blowing clouds. Think I hav a winner here

I watched that. I am confused though.
Mine will show atomizer ohms.
Anyway, mine is lovely. I do share some concerns about the spring loaded pin, but it works like a champ.
L-Rider came out with a newer version right after this video was made. I believe a couple of them actually as I am seeing 2.5 amp with ohm checker and now 3.5 amp with ohm checker. I went ahead and bought one of the 3.5amp as a secondary device. Just like the looks of it and found a great deal on it. Called the Lambo V4. Should be here in a few days.
Hahahah a Cylon?! WIN!!! By far the best name for a Lavatube or any PV I have ever heard of. Glad to see there are other Battlestar Galactica fans out there in the vaping community!
