The good thing is the more vendors that get them the lower the price will be. The tube I got from Volcano was 69.00 and now you can get the kit for that price. I expect them to come down even more.

I read last evening on their blog that indyvapor is going to be carrying the Lava Tube as well....I was shocked in that Indy is a GREAT shop but pretty small physically anyway but they do seem to do alot online....obvious now I guess.

On the volcano site it looks like the tube itself is still 69.00 and there is no option to select the kit in the drop down menu. If that price is for the kit, I will order tonight!

It was on a different site not Volcano that was selling the kit on sale for 69.00. I don't remember which one now but if I run across it again I'll let you know.

The best price I can find in the US is the 79.00 for the Cylon but like was mentioned earlier it just has the three month warranty. THE CYLON VV MOD

cool thanks tx...I would get that but it looks like it comes with the knock off batteries so I guess I will just wait for volcano to get their battery situation straight.

The PowerTube is available with either the IMR or AW IMR batteries.

We also have the new AW IMR 2000 mAh batts.

I just ordered one of the 2000 mah IMR batteries to try.

As I proceded to order the Cyclon after checking it out last night, it's sold out.

..., does anyone else have a kit with good batteries available? Volcano still doesn't. I'd love a silver LT kit though.

Volcano just got their shipment of true AW IMR 18650 1600mah batteries in from AW. They should have the kit option available again if you choose to go through volcano with their one year warranty.

I was thinking that too.. but i'm upgrading from ego's and don't have any of the batteries or charger and the cylon kit works out to about half the price of the lava tube kit.. So I figured if it breaks then i can buy a cylon style tube only cheap later on if need be.

I am upgradeing from eGos myself, I already have batteries and chargers but figured for the same price I could always use more plus the free case and attys although I am giving up the 1yr warranty. Up to each what they deem works the best for them

That is the best price around and I wouldn't let the three month warranty keep me from buying one either. If you are going to have a problem it normally crops up sooner than 90 days.

My tracking number said it should be delivered tommorow the mailman brought it today instead not bad ordered on fri and it arrived today UT to MN 4 days includeing the weekend. I was expecting tommorow so I wasnt waiting in the bushes for the mailman now I am waiting for the batteries to charge checking every couple of minutes for the light to go from red to green so I can check it out my first upgrade from the eGo.
