I mostly use the original Evods because I'm usually switching back and forth between 4-5 different flavors. Lot easier to just buy a bunch of cheap clearos than to buy a couple pricey ones and clean the flavors out all the time. Want to buy a couple Evod Glass to try some mint and banana flavors. Is the flavor better with the dual coils, or should I get some PT 2 Mini bases so I can use my single coil heads?

I have 4 of the EVOD glass tanks. I love the flavor and vape, but they really use up the juice because they're 1.5 ohms. I haven't had the time to research whether I can get higher ohm coils or not. If anyone knows, please point me in the right direction. I'm still new to vaping. Single coil would be better for me too.

I've seen the Kanger dual coils in 1.8 and 2.0 ohm. From what I've read the protank 2 mini base will fit on the evod glass tank, allowing you to use the single coil heads.

No I dont think you can use the PT2/Aero2 stuff with the new Evod glass/Evod 2/PT3 line.. They changed the length of the tubes in the center of the tanks so ONLY the new dual coils will fit from what I remember..

Yeah, the tubes are shorter, though some people claim to use the single coil heads in the PT3 without issues, and supposedly the single coils will work in the Evod 2/Glass if you double up the silicone cup that forms the seal between the head and tube. I've also seen several people post that they use the PT2 mini base with single coil head with the Evod Glass tanks. Maybe the PT2 mini base positions the coil head a bit farther up in the tank? I ordered two Evod Glass and two PT2 mini bases, so I should be able to check sometime next week. I'll post if the bases and single coils work or not.

I use the single coils in my Mini PT3 and regular size PT3. Both have been upgraded with the v2 airflow control base so not sure if that changes anything. I have an Evod glass but haven't tried the base or the single coils in it. Personally I just prefer the single coil. I will give the single coil a shot in the evod glass when the coil gives up. Currently I have a dual coil head in it that has been rebuilt to a single coil.

Well, they arrived today. Unfortunately the single coils aren't long enough, even with the PT2 bases. There's a pretty significant gap between the silicone cup and the end of the tube in the tank. Tried putting 2 of the silicone cups on the head and there was still an obvious gap. I know they redesigned the dual coil heads at some point, but from pics the coil heads seem to be the same height. Mine came with the newer coils with enclosed wicks. Mine also have 4 windows on the tank, I would have preferred 2 like the earlier ones had to protect the glass tank a bit more. I do prefer the new tip over the clear plastic ones on the original Evods. The juices I got them for should be here in a day or two, so haven't tried the dual coils yet.

Been using the Evod Glass for the last 2 days. First, the good. Flavor and amount of vapor is pretty good, a bit more vapor than the original. The draw is very good, easier than the original without being too airy. The vape is nice and cool which I like, though some probably won't. The main thing I don't like is how fast they go through juice and battery power. Being pretty small, the originals already emptied pretty quick. I was expecting the dual coils to use more juice and battery power, but not like this. I'd say they're draining the tank and battery charge at least twice as fast as the originals. As much as I like the vape, I'll probably only be using these for possible tank crackers.

Edit: I have to retract my comment that they produce a good amount of flavor. It appears that the juice I was using is just really strong. I tried a couple other juices in the Glasses and flavor was pretty muted compared to the same juices in original Evods. Also I forgot to mention another issue. Due to the shorter tube in the tank you can only get the tank about 2/3 full.
