Anyone Vape Indoors at Work?

I'm in IT with a private office too, but I keep the fog minimal with high nicotine content (64mg/ml) unflavored liquid using a typical Ego-cc pen. I've tested it by blowing a puff directly in the face of an avid non-smoker and they have said "I don't smell anything." If they can't smell it, then what do they have to complain about. So, they let me vape... at least in my own office.

Just making sure I am seeing this clearly, You are puffing on 64mg liquid?

In a high walled cube, with a silent fan running to disperse any wisps of vapor, and blow it under the desk. Only menthol juices, so if anyone asks about the aroma, I offer them an Altoids ... :D

We have a few "brittle" people who will always claim fatal symptoms if they witness any behavior that disagrees with them, and a toxic HR department that encourages such frivilous complaints ... :(

I would never admit to vaping indoors, even if caught. Its a charge that is impossible to prove, although the mere accusation could have consequences, such as unpleasant interrogations by HR sharks, but just as often they turn on the complainer and punish them ...

Begin HR rant>>>>>>
You gotta love HR. I do everything in my power to avoid that side of the building. It's crazy how HR is supposed to be where we go to voice our concerns but all they really do is figure out ways to make stupid rules so they have something to do. The worst part is all the rules they make only seem to affect the people that actually work and make their jobs harder while protecting the lazy brown nosers.>>>>>>>>>>>> End HR rant.

I do - just go to the restroom and vape :) asked one OA if it's against rules, and if I could hypothetically vape in the break room, and he said that so far it wasn't against rules and I could use the break room, and even do so at my register if no customers were around (same rules if I have a beverage). I don't think I would ever do that, because I'd feel super awkward, so I just take a "bathroom break" every three hours or so, hahahaha

I vape in my office all day long.

UNLESS

I have a client OR I have a guest in there who is a non-vaper.

I have converted three other smokers in my office to vaping. We have made a pact. We only vape in our own (or another vaper's) office. Never in hallways, break areas, etc. The owner of the firm is 100% behind all four of us.

I vape when I am in the office. I don't vape tobacco flavors, just fruits or desserts. I will choose a 0 nic juice for the office out of respect to my colleagues. I think most of them wouldn't care one way or the other, but if someone did object, I want to be able to explain that I was avoiding any risk to their lungs.

I work for a large multinational corporation and the office is in California. I fully expect someone to ask me to cease the office vaping. Each day I get away with it is like another little victory :)
