Ehh, I started vaping to quit dipping. To be honest, it didn't work. I am sure someone with a stronger will than I could do it. But when I hear country music, dip. Driving, dip. Showering, dip. With that being said, I now vape in the morning, and when laying in bed at night. So it has slowed me down, but I haven't quit all together.

I've used tobacco in every form available. I was raised by smokers. My dad died when he was 60 from a heart attack. I suppose I would have drank it if that were possible. I quit cigs and all forms of smokeless 5-20 years ago. I was stuck on cigars and smoked too many. Wife convinced me to try vaping instead. Better than tobacco any day of the week. I love it and am not going back to tobacco no matter what. I believe so strongly I want everyone I know to try it. My mother smoked cigs for 62 years. I told her doctor I would like to switch her to vaping. Her doctor had a very positive reaction. She encouraged my mother to vape instead of smoke. Mother has been clean for 5 weeks and will soon be 80 years old.

I got into vaping (1 month ago) strictly to quit dipping.. Im in the Navy and work mainly on the flight deck, long hours no smoking, so i got into the all day, every day dipping habit. Unless i was asleep, brushing my teeth or eating i had a dip in for over 15 years. The day i got this wonderful flavor stick i stopped and have not had the urge since.. It works! Even when i am in enjoyment of a few adult beverages i don't smoke or use tobacco. All the older Navy folks poke fun at me till i say "here, try this", then the questions start pouring out about it.. In the last month i have converted 4 people, two of which were heavy dippers as well..
