1 down, 3 to go!

Watching/listening to the Fox broadcast hurts my ears, I swear. Buck and McCarver need a new act. LOL

The statisticians give them all sorts of odd tidbits of information to pass along but no one mentions this ---

The Phillies Game 1 and Game 2 starting pitchers didn't start the season with the team. Now, I'm a baseball fan (a Met fan cheering for the Phils, no less) a looong time and I can't ever remember this happening before. Arguably, the two best starting pitchers (Cole Hammels '09 doesn't resemble the '08 version) were NOT Phillies as late as June this season! That's remarkable and is a tribute to their GM and his staff.

I love Pedro still. Go Petey!

I just like to watch the Phillies play.

IF they lose, they lose.

Remember they are playing with the undisputed all time favorable and HIGHEST payed team out there. The best of the best NY Yankees. You cant get a team together with such great numbers without alot of $$.

But with the Phils taking the WS last year, and also having good pitchers (and batters, rollings, howard and utley) they seem to be doing great.
SO great that when I watch them, they seem to win more at away games than home (of the ones I watched)
SO they wont surprise me if they win a few up front.

I'm watching. I can't stand Joe Buck, I always turn the sound down when these guys are on. Hope Phillies kick the Yankees butts.
Oh yeah Go Pedro.
Originally I am a Giants fan(season ticket holder) hoping to get there one day. But in the World Series I am National league all the way.

OK - Series is tied up at one a piece.

I am going to be a good sport and say - may the best team win!
(Plus - I like your juice sales) ;)

No hating here - If NY wins - you can all congratulate me and the fans in NY and NJ. If Philly wins - I will congratulate all you haters and the rest of the fans (while I am crying).

PS - Rob - you promise to NOT spike my juice if NY wins????
