Wanna take my place as hired man around the farm? Or woman in this case. You gotta do things like pick this up, drop that off, go here, go there, help with this, help with that, back this up, drive that ahead, watch the augers so they don't over fill or under fill, make lunch/supper and take it out, be on call 24/7 cause he'll be seeding in his sleep. That kinda fun stuff. I'm trying to cut grass and finish my garden and flower beds. It ain't workin for me. Le Sigh

Totally understand. Born and raised on the farm.

My mom had my brothers and me to help out but she still was totally exhausted at the end of every day. Dad was too.

What a life! And yet, I wouldn't have traded it for anything.

Ha ha ha...I am sooooo thankful that two of mine are now TEENAGERS (13 & 14...I know, I'll probably be biting my tongue sooner rather than later) but they are now responsible for doing their own laundry, can mow the lawn, can make supper from start to finish AND babysit their two younger siblings if I need to run errands!
