I've had a Penelope for over a year...meh. I like my Ody better as far as silica based tank RBAs go - more capacity, and more importantly it looks better on 20-22mm mods. The Penny is really too tall and thin to look good on any mod wider than it.

The Penny was actually created for the (now defunct, never manufactured) Proteus GG mod. This mod was to fit the Penny perfectly, but sadly I think Imeo has scrapped it for now.

If I was looking for an "out & about" tank RBA, I'd go for the Terminator (Ody clone) and if you like to see the juice, by all reports the Kir Fanis clear Ody tanks will work on the clone as well.

FYI - I may be selling my Penny very soon in the classies, keep yer eyes open! ;)

Well, on the Provari it gets pretty dang tall with Penny on top, I can't comment on the Sturm as I don't have one.

IMO, the Penny would look best on a mod that is the same diameter, but I'm kinda .... like that with my mods/attys, YMMV. ;)

Now, an Ody on a GGTS with the GGTS native connector looks awesome! :)

Sturm is a 14650 mod so the penny fits perfectly and should on G16's, Piccolo's, Temon's, Ba Gau's and Merts.

For anything under 22mm it's really preference, if you want a skinnier atty or a fat one. I'm going to get the fat penelope tanks/caps, so I guess I will have both.

Yeah, I'd guess that the Penny would look awesome atop just about any 14650 mod!
I beg to differ

I do not care how it looks. I only care about how it performs. Is there anything out there that performs better than Penelope and can be put in a pocket without leaking?

Again, I think the pene works as well as the coil built for it. As far as pocket friendly, I suppose yes, the pene (and ithaka) are the best rba's that I own in that regard.

I thought Ithaka is only available for a pre-order. Is it the newest version and you have an older version? Either way, the Ithaka is basically like the Penelopa, but it can hold more liquid and has a glass tank - is it glass, by the way? Is Ithaka worth it or is Penelopa more than enough?

Ithakas were delivered a month or two ago. Probably back on pre-order now.

Ithaka is similar to pene in that it's a GG design. But yes, it holds more juice. What's really nice about the ithaka is that you can build a dual coil with it...can't do that with a pene. But no, the clear part of the ithaka is not glass, but some type of plastic. Not a big deal to me, but I suppose it would be nicer if it were glass or quartz. No problems with it so far though. It's a really great rba.

EDIT: Just to add, I think the pene is a wonderful device if you are using it on a variety of mods. The ithaka...i think just mates so well to GGTS that it doesn't feel right on other mods. It's really designed for it...

You can, it's just much easier with Ithaka.

If I had the money to spend I'd look into the latest Kayfuns. No NR-R-NR wire setups needed. A very straight-forward device to setup and it uses silica so no monkeying with a shorting out wick. Should look good on a stainless or brushed ProVari, but you might want to invest in a flat top collar so everything matches up nicely. That angled top collar on a provari really only looks good with 19mm devices.
