I bought a couple kanga mt bcc clearomizers.. I am getting a metal taste vaping. Should I have cleaned, primed, prepped it someway before I used it? I put in a juice that I have used in vivi's and the flavor is not there at all, I just taste metal..

anyone else have this issue? I have 2 more that I have not used yet, wondering if I need to do something to them before filling..

thanks for any help.. :D

Welcome , and alot of people , make it a practice to clean , their clearo's before use , to remove any left over primer . You might try taking them apart , and cleaning them . Let them dry out and try them again . There is also , usually a small break-in required , before the taste and vapor production improves . Good Luck .

thank you.. to be honest I had not thought to clean them when they were new.. I had vivi's and ce's and did not clean and taste was fine. I appreciate your response..

I think along with metal taste there was some machine oil flavor.. I emptied washed, dried, refilled and flavor is good..

Yeah you should rinse and dry them out.

Just throwing this out there but some people chose to remove a wick from their BCC's to get better wicking and flavor. Take the coil out, remove the center shaft, remove one of the loose wicks on top, reassemble.

does removing the wick shorten life? or anything else? this is all still new to me..

thanks for your response..

No , it's just one of several loose wicking wicks . It just lays on top of the actual wick and coil . But if yours is working OK , just leave it alone . (if it ain't broke , don't try to fix it .)
