I have a few minutes left on my lunch break so here's a little mash-up and commentary. FWIW.

How can anyone take the Federal Dumbass Assembly seriously when they spew such unfounded garbage as:

"They also have warned that e-cigarettes contain dangerous chemicals and are being marketed to children."
Yes, their one sample from one supplier had trace amounts. Hardly a proven study. Which further questions this next statement below (I'll comment on the children later);

"American Heart Association CEO Nancy Brown also voiced concern over the ruling.

"There is no scientific evidence that e-cigarettes are effective smoking cessation devices and, until they undergo rigorous evaluation by the Food and Drug Administration, they should be pulled from the marketplace," she said in a statement."

So, no problems stating e-cigs in general contain toxic chemicals based off one sample but we'll just ignore the tens of thousands of people reporting about successfully quitting analogs on forums such as ECF and many others. Right.There's no agenda.

Now, the industry has grown from the thousands in 2006 to several million worldwide, with estimated 20,000 to 30,000 new e-smokers every week, according to Jason Healy, the president of e-cigarette maker Blu Cigs.
The FDA thinks they can conduct a better "study" than this? Really? Really FDA.....Really?

Children. Yes, the children. What about the children??? Well, as a father of two I can simply answer that question this way; They are my children. Keep your dirty hands off of them. I'm looking at you, Government.

If only 20,000 is correct then 2 months from now the rate might be 30,000 to 40,000 new e-smokers every week...because the movement is accelerating.

No way to predict with any degree of accuracy the numbers of new e-smokers every week 6 months from now.

Eventually there would be a saturation point...However, maybe not because many take up smoking tobacco every day and later convert to e-smoking.

These are the kind of statistics that force the third stage of what Arthur Schopenhauer proclaimed over a hundred years ago.

All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident. Arthur Schopenhauer, German philosopher (1788 – 1860)

At any rate, it's just like the little boy plugging holes in the ..... The FDA, and misinformed anti-ecig zealots, need to give up their current fight. They're not going to stop the flood electronic cigarette users. They need to get back to doing their jobs correctly and conduct the correct tests and studies, without the [not so] hidden agendas, that actually benefit the well being of people. True facts and information on a wide range of products. Not hand-selected, previously suspect, products to skew the facts.
