Yes that is the junk mod. First mod I ever built. I made it out of a bunch of junk laying around the house. It's ugly but mostly functional[emoji15]

I dig it. I'm working on my first mod now. Don't have a lathe so I bought a premade box. It's pretty much done. Have to make a new door for it cause I split the first one cuttin gb the squonk hole. It's sx350j a squonk.

Ross has his lathe up and running and all I can say is thank you from the deepest most sincere part of my being for building the perfect avion for me, I can't gush enough about how talented and creative Ross is.
If you like things crafted by hand with imagination and execution, you must experience his work. He is a pleasure to work with, an incredible modder, and speaks with such openness and honesty.
Avion [HASHTAG]#006[/HASHTAG] is preparing for its voyage into space.

Actually yes it is possible with the milling attachment but painfully slow. The vertical mill that I have not yet bought will be the tool for that. Hopefully soon[emoji6]

Nice! Sometimes I wish I had gone for one of those, I choose an ancient Atlas 10F instead for about the same money.
So far Ive only done pretty small stuff I reckon the Taig would've been perfectly adequate for my needs. I do love the aesthetics Atlas though!

Is it your first lathe Roscoe? The Atlas was mine, it was a bloody steep learning curve!
