Anybody got a trick for cleaning VG slime off the inside of windshield?

I wash with windex a couple times. Then clean up the streaks with a dry rag. There has to be an easier way though

I've gotta do mine soon...

If you put your heat or air on fresh air vent and Crack the drivers window you don't get the build up as quick. It forces it out of the car quicker

Well my armour all window cleaner stuff just smears it around. Guess I need to clean em more than once a year! I rarely drive my old truck at night anymore so just realized how bad they are!

I use windex and lots of fresh paper towels, buy a bottle and a roll at the next fill up and go at it in sections, shouldn't take more than 10 minutes. Might be ten minutes that save your ....

Krud-Kutter, then rinse with a wet cloth followed by a dry. Takes less time, uses less paper towels, gives the surface less to cling to next time, and won't hurt your vinyl as long as you don't leave it on there to dry. You can clean the carpets with it, too. Home Depot, lowes, and Walmart (paint dept) have it.

Use vinegar/water mix and newspaper will be the cleanest windshield you ever saw.

Well......probably don't need to clean the windows now. Transmission blew up on the old truck and looks like I might be junking the old girl :-( I have had way more excitement this morning than I ever wanted.....even got to use my fire extinguisher!

I got towed to the tranny shop. Hopefully they will be open tomorrow and can fix me up quickly. If not I may have to junk it and rent a truck.

Wish I could have made it to warm weather....I have all the tools with me to do a tranny swap in the parking lot but not doing it in 17deg weather!
