Instead, I slapped my Apex BF Sapor on there, and it's bangin!

Since it's regulated it really doesn't matter how low or high you build as long as you stay within the accepted range. I usually build around .7 for my regulated mods since I feel it helps with battery efficiency the closer you get to 1.0 ohm's.
thanks havok and wow thats a low build for sure.i only do .35 er so.wish i had the skills to do the chip swapping thing.i do know a few guys on FB that do it so maybe ill have to hit them up and see what they think.so frustrating waiting on squok mods for the masses!lol.the norm though for sure.i may have to just get one of the kangers for mowing and bike riding for sure.thanks for all the info.
That's why I decided to build it myself. It looks like a pretty easy swap, @Subohmies did it already & posted pics so I ordered everything up. I'm in the process of truing my XY vise under the drill press so I can use an end mill to make the cuts in the mod for the face plate. The board is just a few wires to solder & I bought a DNA 200 faceplate from Mamu on Shapeways that includes a screen holder. The toughest part is committing to the milling.
Seriously how much do I have to pay you to make one of these. I would love it. Pretty please?

Definitely want to see how this turns out[emoji106] [emoji1]I've got both & the Kanger is tiny, I like it a lot. Best bang for the buck & doesn't seem to suffer much voltage sag, with my .3 build in the ChiNarda it hits hard all day. I also have the SteamCrave & like it a lot as well but the battery life is terrible. The mod is rock solid otherwise & temp control works with Ti if you lower the temp. It won't recognize SS in temp mode & since I've switched to SS exclusively I decided it was time to do a little modification. I'm in the process of gutting it & swapping a DNA 200 with a lipo. Hoping to have it done this weekend if the wife & kids let me

It's a SteamCrave like @Subohmies did, he also did the Releaux. I'm putting a 900 Fully max in it, it looks pretty tight in there & I was hoping for a larger battery but I knew the fully max fit so I went with that. Plus all the battery specs are in the Evolv forum for the fully max since that's what they recommend. And this just happened.....
I got lots of those.....not sure if any of the are any good though[emoji15]
