Any trouble with leaking, that's the one issue I always seem to have with rta's never can get the wicking right.

I have a time with the wicking too, but once you get it set...good to go. I built the Griffin last night and didn't get the wick down into the channel quite good enough. It was wicking really fast so had to keep vaping really fast, lol.

It's not a finicky wicking one. It's a straight up velocity rda with juice holes in the bottom of the deck, surrounded by a tank. Quite a nice design, really. The more wick, the merrier. I use 3mm coils and I use half a rope of rayon and tuck the tails onto the deck covering up the juice holes. You can top fill or bottom fill. I find bottom filling the easiest.

So Roscoe, when are you going to offer us some of those series squonkers?
I would love to tell you I had em in the works but honestly the FDA has kind broken my will[emoji15] I don't want to invest a bunch of time and money on something I may not be able to legally sell. I might build a few 8.4v flashlights for some close friends on occasion though[emoji6]

I don't have either, but do have the Griffin 22, a mutank, an MT, 2 TFV4's, Gemini, Alleria and a few other tanks. I have 6 regulated mods, and 13 squonkers and a boat load of bf atties. I love the regulated mods, but I know they aren't forever, and that's why I won't get rid of any of my mechanical mods. In fact, I'm going to round up parts for everything just to keep it all up and going. I am definitely going for the Kanger 160W squonker because I really want a regulated squonker, but not at the price others have gone for. I just need to stock up a bit on nic. I figure just one liter of 100mg, cut to 3mg will last me between 4 and 5 years. I have a liter of 48mg now. Other than nic, I think I have things pretty well covered to last for a long time.

I need a regulated non-BF wood mod. I have a couple of tanks that I haven't tried yet.

I have been thinking these past few days about coming up with an ultra simple mod. One that can be built with nothing but a common household tools. Something anyone can build on their kitchen table.....all locally sourced parts or amazon. No proprietary parts whatsoever....

A little self empowerment for the masses just in case one might be unable to acquire gear at some point in the future.......

Goals....
Must be cheap to build
Minimal common tools needed
No proprietary parts (ie 510 connector)
Any most importantly....anybody could build it

Thoughts?

ModMakerBox (WideBoy100) - Natural Aluminium

Blue ABS Enclosure 112x62x31

i have a couple of nice boxes that wont work with the 1500 mah battery,1 is the wideboy the other is ABS from the other side of the pond.ima have to go with the smaller batt,1500mah is huge compared to the 900 in my steamcrave conversion.im ending up using the squonkbox from FDV,bit wide(67mm) but everything fits no problem.the shipping(uk) was surprisingly fast and only about 15$.

add:missed the wood part Penge!lol.they have simple wood boxes too.

JUST KIDDING.

I think the tank might be the problem tho...

I think its a great idea, I don't see my avion ever failing, but would be a great public service contribution. If we do get regulated into prohibition then I'm sure many inferior designs will surface.
I'm all for encouraging any time you get to the creative juices flowing simple or not.
You make up cool sh!!T!!
