I shot these in a light box[emoji57] with one 5100k lamp from top. Maybe I need a second lamp

Can you take a manual exposure? The camera, in auto, will interpret the white background as gray. Need to take either a longer exposure or faster aperture

Also try light not on top but off axis' (x&y) at about 45 degrees

I have a nikon d3100 that u have never learned how to use. Having better luck at the moment with cell phone on black background.

It's almost a rust color with blue specks in it. Is a little darker on one side. Just a quick heads up. I have some really nice pieces just about finished and will be adding them in a couple hours. [emoji6]

all yours!!! Good choice. It didn't photograph all that well but is my favorite of the bunch.
