I agree, the Manta is pure awesome. I got two of the clones and have been using them exclusively for a bit now. Pretty sure it was you that brought the awesome atties to Tom's attention in the first place and I'm awfully glad you did!

I am still in prototype mode but I am pleased with how they are coming along. Below is a poor photo from my phone of one of my prototype units. Tricky little buggers to photograph. Gonna have to build a photo tent to shoot them in I guess. The finish is CA on it and am pleased with how that came out.

It looks amazing. What is CA? Any eta before they are ready to be purchased?

I finally received the smokeless owl mods I ordered and I am very impressed! The atty is junk of course but the mod is a 1000 times nicer than I expected for the price. Finally a good entry level mech squonker for the masses. Definitely gets a thumbs up from me[emoji106]

I'm still waiting on my two, hopefully I'll see in the next day or two as ours hoping notice went out on the same day. The videos I watched on it show zero room to mod with a chip without an extension to the box. I was fearing the worse quality wise so happy you seem to think its better than expected [emoji106][emoji106]

Definitely no room for a chip. This thing is tiny. It's a bit bigger in size to my Peko but holds 10 ml of juice. I'm gonna hammer on it hard to see if it will stand up to some serious abuse[emoji16] This would make a great starter kit for someone with a proper atty.

I seem to recall reading in one of the Smokeless Owl threads that the supplied bottled leeches plastic flavor into the juice. I'd ....-can the factory bottle, if it were me.

Back on topic.....i made another switch refinement today. Rather than using a spring I have changed to magnets with an adjustable collar to allow fine tuning of switch throw and feel. Quite happy with the results!
