Yours is set into the bottom insulator with a touch of super glue. You should be able to pop it lose to clean then a "very small" dab to set it back in place. It is easier to do if you take the bottom off on yours to service the switch.

I recently acquired the number and letter stamp tools.
And upgrade the negative contact of course[emoji1] I haven't cleaned 001 but once since I built it and it is still performing nicely. [emoji6]

I wouldn't worry about anything unless you have troubles. only difference is the new Neg contact is threaded into the insulator.Oh so should I send it in? Still performing good as well. [emoji4]

I have run between .35 and .2 ohms on mine all day long for the last month with zero maintenance and all is well.
Well the manta is back on the avion. Pretty tough to beat the manta[emoji47] vertex has taken up backup duty on the peko. Still playing with builds. Flavor is pretty good but I have been spoiled with the manta.

I would like a little guidance from you guys. I would like to stock a few bf attys around here just to keep more options for folks. I am looking at clones as I kind of want to compliment what chowder is doing with the latest and greatest authentics. I have no desire to move in on his turf I just want to add another avenue for folks to find gear. My intention for this business venture is to eventually have a website with nothing but bottom feeder gear. A one stop shop per say.

I think that's a fabulous idea!! I, for one, miss the clones. I am very particular about attys, and it's crazy to spend over $100 on something I have no idea of I'll like, not to mention I don't have the budget for it. But I really want to try all the new things.
Plus, you do some really cool stuff.
I am a proponent of trying the clone and if it's something I really like(& can afford to) .....buy the authentic. I don't like the whole clone thing but......i also don't think that folks should have to go without cool gear because the authentics cost so darn much. That being said....I own 2 authentic attys and neither have been cloned so........either I haven't liked any of the clones or they haven't been good enough to justify authentic price point for my budget.
