Just on the Buhawi I just checked my old one, not been used in ages but my build was based around a small coil, that said if you position the coil dead tight to the centre post in line with the air cut out I was getting flavor as good as the manta. This week I got some quad core twisted 30 which is tiny compared to most fancy wire but wrap wise it's easy to get low ohms with super fast ramp up time. Position of coil below, these coils are positioned with the top of the coil just slightly higher than the centre post height. The air is the directed to underside of coil straight up, flavour was great. Drop a pair of 5 wrap quad twisted 30's in there and it should pack a punch

Clone is available now and CH is doing another run down the road

I haven't handled a Stumpy clone but a big part of the appeal of the authentic for me, apart from the crazy good design and performance, is the exceptional machining quality. I know plenty of clone attys rival their authentic counterparts in terms of quality but I can't imagine a $9 Stumpy clone is going to come anywhere close. FWIW, I own three Stumpys (all BF'd by CAM). I tried to buy another one and Tom told me he wouldn't sell me more until other folks had a chance to buy their first, lol. Can't blame a brother for trying. :)

Yeah sometimes it's a crap shoot with clones. I have had really nice ones (forge v2) and really bad ones. I don't keep attys long enough to justify high end authentic ones. I am constantly testing new attys to find the best stuff to offer for sale.

Fwiw, I'm done buying $100+ atties, would rather spend on mods... that said I have no problem buying clone atties, as more often than not, I find the hype doesn't live up. The stumpy sounds great, but I can't justify the price. I would certainly entertain a cloned bf stumpy.
