This may seem like a stupid question (I'm full of them, trust me) but do the SS pins come pre-installed or not? Just so I can write a reminder to swap them when I get it.

Yes the SS pin will be installed and the original pin will be in the packaging if one were inclined to use as a dripper. Those who ordered a second SS pin for there 1st run chiNarda will find it taped under the lid of the atty container.

Just a slanted single parallel coil. I used SS316L wire so the resistance wound up about 0.3 ohms.
