So I decided a couple of weeks ago to order my first vv PV. I read many posts in the forum and decided to try the Apollo VV 1.0 lava tube. I ordered the starter kit w/2 batts and a charger. It arrived in about four days. I loved this thing from the first vape. Then I encountered an issue: the battery charger didn't work. Its LED stayed green no matter what. I tested the bats with a multimeter to be sure it wasn't in fact just an LED problem w/the charger.

I then called Apollo customer service. After a very polite conversation and apology, they said they would send out a new charger. I was ok with that, unfortunate, but stuff happens. A few days go by and I've heard nothing, received no email from them and nothing in the mail. I send them an email inquiring as to the status, and receive nothing in return.

I call them this morning, and after hearing my issue they ask if they can call me back in just 5-10 minutes. I say that is fine. 65 minutes later they do call back, apologizing for the delay. I again restate my issue. He sees it as a note in my file, and says "yeah, it looks like we're still working on that". I'm a bit incredulous at this point. I ask what that means and he says they've really been backed up, so they are still working on getting a charger out to me. He says I'm 5th in line, and it might arrive here in the next 3-7 days. I pause, seeing if he'll perhaps offer to 'make it right', compensate me in some way for the inconvenience this has caused me. He says nothing.

So basically I got 1 1/2 day's use out of this thing before both bats were drained. It's now useless until/unless the backup arrives (assuming the backup works). I spent many years in customer service, and if Apollo's response is their standard policy, I'm shocked they're still in business. I know that mine is only one experience, and so may be an anomaly. I'm not pleased, would not use them again, would not recommend them to anyone and will when possible steer folks clear of a potentially similar experience in dealing with Apollo.

Update:
So my new charger did arrive yesterday which means Apollo did expedite the matter after seeing my post. It is working fine and is of a different model with a piece that slides back and holds the battery with what must be spring loaded pressure.

So, while this was an inconvenience and I did spend three days with dead batts, when I dealt directly with Rob from Apollo, he called me personally and then resolved my issue in exactly the manner which he said he would. Happy to have my PV working again!
