I hope everyone has read ECF's page header and plans on contacting your representatives and calling the white house. This is of the utmost importance. The very survival of vaping as we know it.

He addressed the entire bill and what it can mean for us. He said he isn't on the committee for tomorrow but if and when it does come before him he will consider my position, lol. The thing that I actually liked about it is that he wants to know more about the similarities and differences between cigarettes and vaping, and how the two differ health-wise. If they could just ALL think this way we wouldn't be having this issue! We already know that vaping is much, much safer than smoking. I guess he wants to know exactly how much safer it is. We need more time!!!

That makes me feel good - at least he has an open mind....too many see "smoke" and yell "fire" without finding out all the facts. I seem to get the most negative remarks from older people which surprises me because they won't even listen to what I have to say. I had to literally put my mod in my pocket to prove to them I didnt light it with a match!!!!Then they just walk away shaking their heads. I have relatives that dont believe me - Ive heard more than one say "she still smokes - just look at her"....I feel like an outcast.

Morning everyone...it's an overcast day here in the high Desert ...The sky is what I used to call a "white sky"...from my days in the Monterey Bay area ..no sun...no sky...just white cloud cover. Still recovering from my dr appt roadtrip. Hope everyone has at least a good day.

Eventually that will change, when someone important finally posts a study that proves that vaping saves lives and that it is just nowhere near as deadly as smoking. I just hope it happens before we get regulated to the point we have to resort to "vape easies" lol! Ima start dressing like a flapper if that happens.

I love Monterey! My son went to the DLI and my mom and I went down there for his graduation. It's beautiful. I hope everything went well at the doctor's and you are taking it easy and resting today.

US needs to follow UK lead and come out saying vaping is 95-99% safer than smoking

Oh I get that a lot. Yeah, "He still smokes" and "It's pure nicotine" and "It's waaay more addictive than cigarettes" and "He's smoking antifreeze" and "He's smoking formaldehyde" and "My doctor said" blah, blah...and get this one "All of that vaping gets them high, that's why they do it instead of smoking". We have lots of work ahead of us huh?
