Good evening!

That's part of how I ended up with so many tanks, I was searching for my perfect tank. The other part is my flavor ADD lol.
I have flavor ADD, too...I'm narrowing it down, but still not there yet.

I do...I lied....2005 GT3....I have read so many articles on putting Chevy engines in a 944 but never a Mopar....383 is a Mopar correct?

350ci GM small block bored .50 over with 400ci crank and rods.
Increases stroke thus "stroker motor", and increases displacement to about 383ci.
That motor had upwards of 700hp on the bottle.

@Bad Ninja I see, I was going to question how a Mopar could even fit, even the small block GM has to have some mounting modification, not to mention the tranny being the 944 is a rear mounted gear box.

We gutted the car. Added 2x3 box tubing to make the frame, and had to burn/scrape all that useless "insulation".
No transaxle, we used a GM350Turbo tyranny with a 3600 stall.
We got rid of all that anemic German drivetrain. ;)

We also made molds and our own fiberglass hood with a huge cut out for the tunnel ram and dual carbs.

The nitrous jets were drilled into the intake runners :D

Had a narrowed ford rear end and wheelie bars.
It wasn't technically street legal but we drove it around town on weekends looking for races.
It was one nasty ride.
It would carry the front tires off the ground for the first 60 feet.

This was many years ago, before fast and furious made kids think Hondas were fast, and nitrous was flammable.
;)
