Woo hoo!!!! Best rant EVER!!! It's so true. I also like that Apollo keeps it neutral but i would love to see mods that specifically target women. We like power but we want color! I think that's why I really like the red Reliant. It delivers both power and beauty. I think even if it came in pink I would still get the red one (GASP!!) just because I love how it looks. Can you believe I just said that in my out loud voice??That's a great article....not to point any fingers, but it seems sooo many mods are made in black, silver and dark colors...more masculine. Women like to accessorize more, we like to match things. We worry as much about how it LOOKS, as well as how it works. I understand that creating mods in every single color can become very expensive, but I'd like to see more variety. When I started vaping, I wanted something sparkly and shiny and not so utilitarian looking. Sure, I've made tons of charms and custom painted a few...but whe you look online, and see a tiny eGo that's been blinged out for $250-300 ...that's nuts to me. And why do women pay that? Because they want it to look good, I think women look at their mod as an extension of themselves. And speaking for myself....the companies who show overly made up young models with inflated lips blowing a cloud as the first thing you see on their web page get no business from me. Maybe I'm just older and that doesn't appeal to me...lol...I just don't think companies need that to spotlight their products. I want products that keep me away from cigarettes, I can get lipgloss at CVS. That's one thing I admire about Apollo, their website lists a product, what it is, what it does. Period. Give me what I need, tell me how it works, and make it look good. Anyone who knows me knows I'm a purple fan (OK, maybe a little obsessive) about it...and that will draw me to certain products. My lovely red Reliant has just enough shine and shimmer to grab me...lol...and hold my attention. I was looking at another website to look up a mod a friend of mine was talking about. Guess what?? Great mod, but comes in black, dark grey, and dark blue. No reds, no pinks, no purples...just dark, darker and darkest. We NEED variety!!! We are women, isn't it our prerogative to change our mods like we change our minds (or our shoes)??? Rant over...lol...back to our regularly scheduled postings now....
I CAN believe it...the shade and shimmer of the red is really prettier in person, and I know you love pink as much as I love purple...lmaooooWoo hoo!!!! Best rant EVER!!! It's so true. Me too! I had the perfect pink Egos when I first started and I had to give them up for big, bulky box mods but it had to be done! I wanted moar power, lol. I do have fun dressing them up, though. When I first started, I said that I would never use some huge boxy thing and love the small cigalikes. Now look at me......all subohm tanks and box mods.
I definitely do! I just really really love the look of the red Reliant. When there was just the black one I even said I thought it would look really good in red and BOOM! The red one came out! Coincidence? I think so!I CAN believe it...the shade and shimmer of the red is really prettier in person, and I know you love pink as much as I love purple...lmaoooo
Win, win, WIN!!!!!I definitely do! I just really really love the look of the red Reliant. When there was just the black one I even said I thought it would look really good in red and BOOM! The red one came out! Coincidence? I think so!![]()

It's getting better, slowly but surely!I feel for you ladies but it does seem mods are getting more colorful. I like mods in all sorts of colors too even though I don't accessorize. Here in AR pink/black or purple/black camo mods would sell like hotcakes, especially if they came with matching rubber boots!![]()
That works for some mods....some you just have to only use at home....lmaooooSee, I'm strangely ok with the darker color mods. Wraps are cheap, protect your finish in case you want to resell or trade, and cone in all sorts of colors and patterns. Plus if you get sick of it, just get a different one!
Took it to the dog park with me today, pimped Apollo out to 3 people...am working the daylight out of the original kanthal coil before I bust into TC...probably tomorrow... I put a fresh battery in yesterday, it's still going. Solid, steady, really like this mod!!!I just wanted to check in and see how you are enjoying the new toy Red.........it usually takes me a full day to give is an honest assessment.....how long does the battery last you? and about what setting are you on with the phazer?
Oooh... aqua. And if I could find one that was between the Kanger Subox Nano pale purple and the Innokin Coolfire purple, I'd go for it. Or Muddy Girl camo. Or sea foam green. Or...Mornin everyone! Well...for me here it's still mornin!
I am lovin the chat about the industry listening to the ladies as far as what WE want. I think they figure we are buying it..so we must like it.That's like Russia only carrying Winter coats in GREY ..In size 42s.."Well..they're buying them...they must LIKE them"..
yeah....WRONG. If that's all there is to choose from...*scheesh*
Usually the industry starts coming around when there starts to be some serious competition, cutting into their sales.
Variety ..and choice...those are some of the hallmarks of a free market.
I would LOVE to see a vendor step up (Hey Apollo! Why not you!) and start offering the popular mods in the pastel colors..pinks, aquas, powder blues..lavenders...and the more solid pinks and purples of course.
Right now I have a black MVP3 60W ...I love the He** out of it....but it looks and FEELS like a frickin BRICK! It should be registered as a deadly weapon! Who needs mace when I can carry my mod! And yes..I would love to go a little more stealth out in public ...This is a small town...and I'm convinced some folks think I need a permit to carry that mod![]()
Brass would go nicely with gold jewelry ...so it would be good for guys and gals!! To tell you the truth, I think I like them all...pastels are pretty ...bold colors are striking.....and I'm really liking the white ones too. Of course - girls can always paint their nails to match the mod and it is perfect.I still think they should make a reliant in brass
Sent with one hand, the other is busy vaping
