I think this is something everyone needs to watch. This is the senate speaking about vaping. If it wasn't already real to you, this video should make it real.

I couldn't watch much, it eats up my data, but for the first minute, I could tell that we need to bounce their old asses outta there and bring some new life to the people. That's total BS!
Omg.... I had to stop when Sen. Merkley called e-cigs "killer products"

A super summarized version would be something like this:
"Big tobacco is targeting kids to replace people that are dying from smoking.
They are using candy flavors to target kids.
These companies say adults like these flavors but that is a lie.
E-cigarettes are just a tool to get kids to start using nicotine.
Adults don't use e-cigarettes to stop smoking because tobacco companies wouldn't put something out that helps to stop smoking.
We need to ban all of these flavors and e-cigarette devices."
He even said at one point that we didn't need ANY grandfather date and to get rid of all of it.

Yeah, he was trying to spin that tobacco companies are making these things in order to hook more children on cigarettes. He urges FDA to hurry, hurry, hurry with regulations and "strong ones". SOB knows better than what he's spinning, it's the money not the children. What a lying pos.
Would be no surprise to me to find out BT wrote this entire script and made major payoffs to have it read on the Senate floor. No mention of banning cigarettes here but yet they want to wipe out the e-cig industry. Not too hard to figure out whose motives are at work. Lousy scumbags.
You're right though, everyone should watch it to get a good idea of what we're up against. This happened on Oct. 28th, the day we were all calling the White House. I mean, I knew it was a battle but had no idea of the strength of the lies occurring on the Senate floor.
I think we all should start sending him our "quit stories" and swamp him
They only want to wipe out everyone EXCEPT the 3 BT who will continue to profit selling THEIR e-cigs.
The only thing that would matter to him is going to have the face of a president on it and we don't have enough of those things to send.

Never once has any lack of factual data ever stopped a politician from doing everything in his or her power from trying to pass a bill that would in the end give more money and power to the federal government machine. And I am not an anarchist, just a realist.
Yeah, I was thinking about it myself, but after watching two of my guys just get herpderp in that video I've just wrote them off, they no longer exist to me
