Well, hubby made it home last night long enough for some food, a hot shower and a few hours of sleep. It normally takes about 20 minutes to get to work, even with no rain overnight it tool him over 2.5 hours tis morning. We weren't supposed to get more rain till later today, but it's been pouring for a few hours now. I ran out to grab a few things earlier, and am happy to be back home!
I'm so grateful I dont smoke anymore....i watched someone have a meltdown in Walmart today because they were out of his brand of cigarettes. Yeah, they were out/running low on a lot of things....dude, we're under water!!!!!!

Thanks - I think I will try one of these. My son is coming home in 2 weeks for my husbands other hip surgery and he will check it out for me. I don't think the channels are congested - just the range so it should work.

I seen lots of trees down around the tracks on the way to Shreveport and then back from Longview. Lots of water everywhere. Luckily I missed most of the actual storms, though.

How many people can use it at one time? My son gave me his log in for showtime but it would only let me put it on the computer - strange cause I can cast it with apple tv??
I think 3 at a time on Netflix...I was in the middle of a movie once and got bumped off...not sure about HBO because we never use that because we have cable and On Demand.
His first year at college, he and his room mate signed up and they split the bill, so I'm guessing it's a pretty basic plan.
