Many prominent scientists feel the entire country is boned when Yellowstone blows!
Yeah...when that goes...nobody is going to be safe anywhere..ugh..

Very true - but for what it's worth, I think we're good on the whole till 2036. That's when Apophis is gonna clobber us on its way back around the sun.

LOST IN THE CLOUDS-USA
Afternoon All

Nice to see some of you are here. Now if the rest will let us know they are Ok. I could breath a sigh of relief. Hey KK where were you when Mt St Helen's blew? Also didn't you guys get a big storm in 2007? I think that's when it was. My daughter is freaking out over all the earthquakes that are going on. I'm so glad I don't have TV so I won't know what hit me lol. I don't have to worry about not having things cause I make sure I have that stuff already. Anyway off to do a few errands. I will check back to see if other check in. That's if ECF let's me it hasn't been nice lately lol.

I'd go with the drinking for sure..

Soon after posting that my doorbell rang. It was my son and his wife, with bottle in hand. They hung out and spent the night. It was fun. They went home in the morning before it got bad. I never lost power and no damage. It got pretty windy here, I thought for sure a tree would come down. Our shore area (about 32 miles away) got it the worst. A lot of damage there. I thought it would have been a much more impressive storm, with all the hype the reporters were giving it. But my family and I are all okay. :)
