So I ordered a couple of e-juices from Alien Visions
- Camel
- Hype
- Boba's County
What do I need to know about 100% VG liquids? I found out about them from one of the reviewers.
Can someone tell me aobut Hoosier Cigs Dekang E-Juice? Specifically interested in the Desert Ship in 18mg. This is 100% PG.
Given I will likely be using these in the Vivi Nova V2's, what should I know?
I'm using 70%VG in a Nova V2. You might have to periodically tip it, especially when it gets down to about the 0.7ml mark. I hold my LT from horizontal to about 30-45 degrees, so it's not an issue until it gets low. Then I don't have to really take much time, just a quick swish. Those short wicks are very fast to soak up juice. I've not had a dry hit yet and I don't really take any pains about deliberately wetting the wicks. It just kind of happens automatically.
I think the AVE juice is thinner than what, for example, I'd end up with if I used 100% VG in my DIY juice. You really shouldn't have much problem with it. People use it in the Stardust and the Nova is just as good, or better, with wicking. The systems are very similar.
A lot of people slam Dekang because it's Chinese. It's actually not bad. Some of their flavors are too light for some. Europeans and Asians often prefer the lighter flavors. Dekang is the biggest juice maker in the world. They have to formulate flavors for the tastes of the whole world, not just the U.S.. Americans tend to forget that and become hyper-critical.
I got off tobacco flavors a long time ago but, about 6 months ago, I pulled out some old Desert Ship I had from when I first started and it wasn't bad. I think it's supposed to taste like Camels, but I can't swear how accurate that is. If I had another bottle of it laying around, I'd probably vape it again.
