Not sure if there has been a post like this/for this but i couldnt find it so what the hell its for safety and needs to be posted as much as posible.

If you own an Apollo mod or are thinking of getting one, there is a small but important cauton you must abide by for your safety and others.

If you have an rda/RTA WITHOUT an adjustable 510 connector YOU CANNOT use it with the hybrid top cap. I only say this because i bought one from a local bm and brought it home, threw in my only vtc4 and without thinking threw on my authentic vertex, which does not have an adjustable 510. It immediatly vented my battery and i had to throw it out.
Thankfully, due to the safe chemistry of the vtc4s no harm was done. But had that been say an icr battery (which by the way was the first battery a different vape shop recommended i get with my first ever mech mod a few months ago ((thank goodness for battery knowledge)) i would have had a terrible disaster on my hands.

Just wanted to make anyone aware and prevent a possible injury.

I think you should start looking for a new vape shop, and well should have after the ICR incident. :) Sadly that's the nature of the hybrid connector, a small savings in voltage drop and height for a bunch more risk. People have vented batteries with atomizers with longer positive posts -- it's just the nature of the design -- and your shop should have warned you in a big way before sending you home with it.

Glad you're OK!
