I've always preferred to talk to the person who's doing this directly and privately, to help them learn how to correct it (especially if it's me doing it). Passively aggressively calling them out like this doesn't accomplish much, except making me crave chocolate fudge from reading the followup comments.

I don't mind people not using correction punctuation or spelling, the human brain can generally "fix" that when reading to get a general idea of what someone is trying to say.

Try this :)

I cnduo't bvleiee taht I culod aulaclty uesdtannrd waht I was rdnaieg. Unisg the icndeblire pweor of the hmuan mnid, aocdcrnig to rseecrah at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it dseno't mttaer in waht oderr the lterets in a wrod are, the olny irpoamtnt tihng is taht the frsit and lsat ltteer be in the rhgit pclae. The rset can be a taotl mses and you can sitll raed it whoutit a pboerlm. Tihs is bucseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey ltteer by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe. Aaznmig, huh? Actually I could read that fine. I think was years of teaching High school that made it possible though. ;)

True story:

I had a student turn in a paper that I kid you not every response was nothing but a bunch of wavy lines. The kid had the audacity to argue me giving him a 0 on the paper. So I invited him to my desk and told him to read the paper aloud to me. If any of the answers were correct I would give him credit. He couldn't do it. Kid never argued again or tried to pull that one off. LOL

AegisPrime, I could read that. Much as I try to make my posts legible, I can go back later and read one and find that I skipped a word, or misspelled something. So unless you are using all sorts of texting abbreviations, or make no attempt to make something readable, I don't get bent out of shape.

Good story Myrany.

Grammer Nazi's seem to me to be the type of person who just love to point out how much better they are than the rest of the herd.

For the last week or so, every time I edit a post, all formatting collapse, turning posts into a big pile of text. Really annoying when all I want is to fix a typo or such.
That happens to me with one of my email accounts... I get it all nice and pretty, send it and when it gets to the other end its all goofed up.
Drives me bananas.

All I can say is...wow.
The power of the Human Brain is amazing :)

Yes! When I first stumbled across that I was like ...? Really amazing the way the brain learns stuff. I find dyslexia quite fascinating too - love this book: Huffington Post

And for grammar fans (and Nazis ;)) The Oatmeal has some great comics!
