7's compatability

So in my previously unsuccessful attempts at dumping the analogs, I had a cigalike set from the 7's company. I was wondering if anyone here knows if their batteries or chargers can be used on an ego setup? (afraid to try it cause if I screw it up im screwed)

The website for the 7s doesn't indicate what the threading is, so the compatibility is unknown, unless someone else here chimes in. Some companies have proprietary threading or use uncommon threading to keep you stuck with buying their products.

If the 7 is working properly and you are interested in just trying an eGo, there are inexpensive single kits available from this site. You can get similar kits directly from China, but the shipping takes longer.

A quick search indicates the threads are RN4081 so it shouldn't even screw onto an ego or 510 charger.

Also worth noting that there are some disposables that wire things up the opposite way.

Which would mean that *if* the threading does fit, it is not necessarily safe to use a charger for a different battery.

My wife and I got a 7's setup as a step up from cig-a-likes. On the good side, they opened up the world of "better than cig-a-likes" and buying juice in 30ml bottles to us. On the bad side, because of their proprietary nature, we only used them for about a month.

My advice? Get an eGo setup and toss the 7's hardware. Use the charger that came with your eGo and don't mix and match.
