Well, after speaking to some people on the forums and a local supplier, I tried a modified method that was posted on this forum somewhere about "fixing" the issue with E2 cartomizers(especially the R4 version).
All I did was this:
Removed the mouthpiece and the 2nd little plastic piece.
Put into a glass of Everclear. Let sit for 12 hours(overnight).
Poured out everclear, washed out cartomizers with hot water, cold water, whatever.
Took some water in my mouth and blew through the cartomizer(with water) a few times, just to make sure that nothing was left inside. Hopefully, the pressure and water would blow anything left inside out.
Did a "dry blow" with just air to try and get remaining water out.
Put the cartomizers in front of my fan for about 3 hours to try and dry it all out.
After it "looked" dry, I just did the thermometer whip to make sure that anything else left would come out.
Filled up with 100% VG and then another with 50/50 and another with some random ratio.
Let sit for a few minutes... Not an issue yet... As stated a few times, we seem to believe that the juice left over inside the cartomizers from China ruins the flavor and causes wicking issues...
Seems to be good.
