I too have lost a couple of pounds in my 3 weeks of vaping. I had a bad habit of eating chocolate every night. But since vaping my bakery blends have satified my sweet tooth. No chocolate bars in almost 3 weeks. It was a very pleasant but unexpected side effect of vaping. My smell is starting to come back (not always a pleasant thing)but my taste buds are fried. I have a tendency to vape for 7-10 secs at a time and the heat has fried my taste. I am trying not to draw for so long sometimes the juice pops up the driptip and dang it is hot and has occationaly burnt my tounge.

Almost seven days for me and my appetite is now in full force. I've been too busy with work to indulge but it feels pretty much the same as quitting cold turkey.

I expected the nic to play a bigger role than it actually does. I typically would eat only 1-2 times per day with analogs. Skipping a meal now is pretty rough. Not sure how I was handling it :)

I think that is what drives me to look at recipes on my work PC in the late afternoon and that led to me actually cooking dinner sometimes. I do keep some packs or Lance and other crackers in my drawer at work and since we rarely eat lunch, if I am extra hungry around 2-2:30 I have a pack of crackers with my tea.

wabbit....the "welcome back tastebuds tour" sounds like a winner to me!

dormouse..."We went to a good buffet and i pigged out - for the first time ever my fiance was DONE eating including his dessert and I was still elbow deep in melted butter and some huge shrimp that tasted slightly like lobster haha."
---- This is hilarious! I can truly see myself at a buffet just as you described. :)

Thanks again for all of the great input! It's encouraging to know that these cravings may pass quickly. I'll be ordering more food flavored juices and hopefully I'll end up like those of you who have actually LOST weight. Woohoo!

Lol, caycay, I still don't know what a snickerdoodle is, nor have I vaped it. Guess I could look it up.

Everyone is right, food cravings will go away. At first everything tastes better, or you notice subtle flavors you never noticed before in something you eat quite often. Then it turns to, yuck! This smells like that, or this tastes like that. I love spinach, buy frozen and put it in everything. Suddenly I realized spinach actually tastes like something , not so great plain, although fresh leaves are still good. Also, baked chicken started smelling really bad to me, used to love it.

So you see, it will all sort itself out, and you will lose anything you may or may not gain.

I've been vaping for only two weeks. I'm down 10 lbs cause of all the water I've been drinking with the vaping. Just last night though I had an unbelievable craving for a 7/11 Chili Cheese dog. Haven't even thought of one for 20 years. Hope the cravings go away... I'll blimp out.

I don't know if my appetite came back or if I simply never had one! Now, I have never been allowed to eat, not one day in my entire life, since I was six I have only been fed enough to "keep me alive", there have been splurges of course, but for the most of it not much, not much at all, not that it has mattered a hole hell of alot, still fighting my weight all these years even though I have never been allowed to eat....Anyway, I digress....when I quit smoking I realized that I was "HUNGRY" I think for the first time in my life, really, really hungry.....I have smoked my entire life and just squished it down with cigarettes and coffee, but no more, hungry is hungry and it scared me at first, I didn't have a clue what was going on.... but nope, just hungry.
