So am I so far, it seems to be just a huge iPod touch with a higher resolution display!
Youch!!! I think 3 people (and the fanboys) will want this! I don't think the PC makers have anything to worry about just yet
We also have colour e-ink displays to look forward to!

Looks like $499 to $599. Maybe they'll come out with a bigger model and call it the MaxiPad.

At first i thought that IPad is pretty useless, but i have changed my mind - i want one too now

No multi-tasking sucks, it's got the same restricted OS of the iphone/touch and it's too big to fit in a pocket.
I'm thinking it's kinda like the el camino of electronics right now. A hybrid of the worst of both worlds.
If they had improved the OS or made it a little smaller (and cheaper) it would have been a win.

you could use voip either over wi-fi or 3g
The problem is you can't leave the app running and do other things. If you want to use it as a phone to take/make a call you have to keep the app up, same for any text app.

thanks/ I guess what Im asking is, is a phone number assiged to it like the iphone?
