When I received my first Grand, it was made apparent to me on the board that applying Noalox was an important part of keeping my Grand healthy. I received the little ziploc of the stuff with my Grand, of course, but I figured I'd just go out and buy a full tube of it for a lifetime supply. The little ziploc was stuffed in a corner of my vaping box and there it stayed for a long time. I used a toothpick to apply the noalox to my firing pin but it was never easy to get the right amount.
Well--once again it turns out the Modmaster knows best. That little ziploc of Noalox makes the perfect applicator. I don't apply it to the firing pin anymore but just roll down the side of the ziploc the slightest bit and slide the button-top of my battery across the the inside of the upper ziploc wall. This places a faint but uniform film of Noalox across the button and there's no mess. Works like a charm every time.

I had mod failure from lack of proper Noaloxing I looked it up and found the Reos not preforming well thread. I figured the reason for Noalox was to provide an oxygen free atmosphere for the pin to make contact thus no arcing/sparking and no oxidation of the firing pin. I would dab the top of the battery every battery change. When I removed the firing pin to replace it with a SS pin with a rolled tip it was pristine I even used a high power magnifying glass. Zero oxidation no need to file when you do it this way.
