"Apply noalox to the firing pin and top of the spring. The firing pin is the gold color positive contact. With the door off press the button and you'll see it bend down and come out of the black delrin insert inside the Reo. Look for this little bottle that will come with the Reo, it is the noalox" from Filthy-Beast.

So what is the Noalox for? What dose it do? How often?

Also nic level, ATM I am using 12mil Nic, should I lower it to 6ml when using the Reo? I don't like thought hit.

Last question for tonight, I think anyway. I am vaping Mt Baker Vapor, due to the low cost. Will this be the best flavor provider from a Reo? Or do I need to spend more money for a Premium juice, without a outrageous price tag.

It is a lubricant for mechanical electrical switches which helps prevent arcing and subsequent carbon deposits. In layman's terms it helps keep carbon buildup to a minimum giving you more voltage through your Reo. Most often applied after filing on the contact under the firing pin on Reos that do not have the upgraded sub-ohm parts. You don't want to file contacts on new Reos or those that have had the sub-ohm kit applied.

Noalox is used to reduce oxidation on the firing pin. But if you have the gold colored ones, it's not needed unless you vape below 1.0 ohm. In that case(if you have the gold spring/firing pin), deoxit gold is recommended. How often depends on how low your ohms are. It's also more likely to be needed if you use flat top batteries

Nic level is your call, I vape 24mg, and I buy unflavored from MyFreedomSmokes, $30.99 for a liter.

Oh! and welcome! :)

I buy bulk of unflavored as well and mix the pre-made juice with it. In a 6ml bottle I will use 1/4 flavored and the rest unflavored. This will give me all the flavor I can stand out of a REO. You are going to have a IGO-BF and they are flavor producing machines. Once you get over the initial purchase in bulk it is much less expensive than anything else.

I haven't really lowered my nic level much. I would say try it and see. After a few months I lowered from 15 to 12 and now I am at 9-12. I do not really keep a track of it. I mix all my unflavored at 9mg and the pre made juice is anywhere from 18-9mg.

Your REO will have the upgraded contacts. DO NOT FILE THE FIRING PIN.

Yep - good info on noalox above.

As for nic level, a lot of people find that stepping it down with a reo is called for - it's an efficient, high yield system. That said, if you're used to RDA's or dripping, you won't likely feel the need.

MBV is fine juice to use - I love Hawk Sauce and Twin Mint myself (vaping the latter as I write this, in fact). If you're looking for a change up, you might want to check out Nicoticket - loooots of reo folks swear by it (... and they'll be in shortly to sing its praises).

La la la la la shoom diddy boom ba!

Yep, Nicoticket has some good stuff. I like anything made with their vanilla base. Strawnilla (Strawberry vanilla), Raz Cup (raspberry cupcake) and I like The Virus as well (H1N1). That last one is a complex vape and you'll taste things that you swear weren't there yesterday. That has a very light tobacco base to it, and I don't care for that in most juices, but it's so mild and is just such a small part of the mix that I actually love it. Clark and Katy are to juices what Rob is to mods. The customer service can't be beat. Whenever I order from there I do it over the phone just so I can say hi to Clark. He's really a nice guy. Definitely has my vote.....

If you want something that will grab you buy the boo boo get some Havana gold from alien visions . Warning this is not squirrel juice this is something John Wayne would have enjoyed . I like the 18 mg anything lower kills the the juice ,

Do not file the positive contact or we will be forced to send you the magic D cap . You have to wear it for a week if you file the gold contacts .

I use deoxit gold and power booster, but Im running sub-ohm coils (0.5)... couldn't hurt to use it either way... noalox works though too...

and...of course I started using it after I compulsively decided to file the gold contact .... and had to replace it .. ... yea don't do that..

I say get some unflavored and/or nicoticket.... can't go wrong there!

I dropped from 18mg nic to 9mg and then to 6mg (9 was making me sweat and get shaky) when I started using my Reo but that's because I switched from a single 1.5ohm coil in a kayfun or my Aero tank to dual coils at 0.5-0.4ohms in my Odin atomizer. I jumped from 12ish watts to about 35-45watts. I didn't buy new juice, I just add VG to get the lower nic level. The flavor is still there, and I actually like it better.

Nothing wrong with Mt baker juice. I like some of their flavors. My wife LOVES their vanilla butternut flavor. The important thing is that you like it. I will recommend Nicoticket also though. Thier H1N1 (the Virus) was a game changer for me. Truly one of the most satisfying juices I've ever vaped. I've been vaping it all week and just ordered 100ml more. I start all of my ex smoker friends off with a 30ml bottle when they start vaping because the tobacco flavor really hits the spot for new vapers.

If you really want to save some money I also recommend unflavored. I mixed some up recently and it's not bad at all.
