APV Amp Limit Question if anyone can assist.

Can you tell me the "pros & cons" of the Lambo? And how is the 510 threading, which is the weak point of the Vamo?

After using the vamo v5 after about a month, it has been giving me low load error whenever I jnserted a tank. Found out I had pushed in my 510 center pin, and I had to use a flat head screwdriver to pull it up. Overall I am not happy with the flimsiness of the vamo, and I wish I had spent my money on a more durable product.

I do know that you can get 5 amps with vamo using stacked 18350 batteries

Also I read that Innokin SVD and Innokin VTR both have 5amp limits. Not sure how they achieve it.

Which APV's, other than the Vamo, has a 5 amp switch?

Thanks for your help.

The Sigelei Zmax v2 has a 5 amp switch. Bought one in March 2013, and it's still working just fine! Other versions of the Sigelei Zmax are listed as having 4 amp switches. The v2, like the Vamo, is capable of exceeding the 15 watt/6 volt limit. Phil Busardo tested that for me awhile back on the Vamo. I know of no testing on the Sigelei Zmax v2, but doing a side-by-side comparison, I can tell that they are both capable of exceeding the limit. It seems the only limit is the switch amp limit.

I think all of the Sigelei and SmokTech 15 watt mods use the same chip. I would imagine that they all have the same 5 amp limit

I must have gotten lucky with my stainless Vamo V2. It is still running strong after a year. It is not my all day device but, I use it more than anything else around the house. This will change soon though. I am moving away from the pulse width modulation devices and moving toward flat DC output.
