Aqua Clone Post Screws

Sorry I need to remove the post screws. I dont have the tool that originally came with it.
It may be kinda difficult to tighten them up completely with pliers though. Anyone know if I can buy a replacement tool for it?
Perhaps I don't understand. Are you trying to remove the posts or merely the nuts atop the posts?
If the nuts, you might try a pair of needle nosed pliers to gently tighten them. I know of no tool specifically for this.

They look like you'll be able to tighten them snug without a tool. That's all you really need to do, especially in a tank. IMO. Try it and see.
Also wrap the leads so they travel in the same direction the screws tighten. Clockwise almost always. Helps prevent the kanthal from being pushed out when tightening.
Suggested my another member and it really does help a lot.

So I got an Aqua clone in a trade and just now noticed the screws on it. Any ideas how I can get them off?Thanks
theyre thumb-screws. use your thumbs to loosen and tighten. lefty loosey righty tighty.

there is no tool. there are basically 2 nuts on each post( actually not really but the method would be the same) hold the bottom one while loosening the top one. if your having a hard time loosening those up, your really going to be stumped when you try the actual build. love the aqua, its a great tank and if you need any help, pm me and I can give you step by steps, or links to some vids I have made on them
