Aqua Rba Problems

So i recieved this from FT a few days ago https://www.fasttech.com/products/1411/10007195/1594300-aqua-style-rebuildable-atomizer And it's been pretty good for the most part. But recently in the past day or so i've had problems with it not soaking up juice and burning/tasting like S#!* because of it. I can't seem to figure out why it's not soaking well enough. I run it on a svd and 15w it burns, and it still burns on 5w. Ive rewicked it a few times but i just cant figure it out. do i need more wick/less wick/to center my coil(it's off by a quarter inch +- some). I'm running a single coil because dual coil is a pita on the aqua and seems to kill how quick it heats up.

Should my cotton wick be tight or loose?

i wicked my with cotton I made sure to use only just enough to fill the coil and pack the channels loosely. I am running to micro's with a very slight gap between each of the wraps. I have run it air control wide open and juice control all the way closed at 30watts running .8ohms. can you post a pic of your setup ?
