The aqua v2 has Stainless steel and PolyCarbonate tanks with a third top so it can be used as a dripper.

The tanks hold 4 ml of ejuice.

The airflow is adjustable full lung hits to mouth to lung and every thing in between.

It has a two post design but post holes drilled in different directions so you can install two coils no problem. I hate dual coils. So I am trying it in single coil mode. This has four juice wells so if you want to rock this on a single coil you will have to plug two of the juice wells to keep it from flooding. I just packed the two wells. A reviewer on You Tube made a second wick and laid the uncoiled wick over the deck.

The bottom of the tank unscrews and you can remove the 510 pin and put another nut on and use in in hybrid mode and screw the tank directly into some mech mods.

Currently I have the tank sitting in a shot glass to catch any leaks. I will see how it goes and post an update.

I have several problems. With the aqua 2.

1. I had to close the airflow half way before the juice stopped leaking at the threads.

2. Most times I tried to unscrew the base from the tank I unscrewed the stupid bottom section to be used in hybrid mode.

3. No drip tip but used a standard 510 drip tip.

4. The PolyCarbonate tank is not clear but frosted. You can see the juice easily but if the juice starts to turn dark you will not be able to tell right away.

5. This fills from the bottom but there are four tiny holes that allow the juice to drip on the area around the juice wells. My problem is the holes you have to put the juice into the tank are tiny a dropper from a bottle is not going to work. I use 15 ml plastic bottles with a plastic needle tip and it barely worked.
You may want to think of filling with a syringe.

6. The threads are rough.

7. This kept leaking at the threads until I covered the airflow half way (a restrictive lung hit) my aqua v2 has leaked a fraction. Of a drop around the 510 pin ln 12 hours.

I took a couple of puffs and the tank has not flooded

Recommended yes but not for beginners.

The flavor is good but the Goblin Mini and Jim G's Kayfun Lite Plus with PolyCarbonate Bell cap has this setup beat but not by much

I got this because I am looking for options after I strip the threads or destroy the gaskets of my Goblin Mini.

Opening the airflow also opens the juice control. So if you open it too much for your wicking, you will flood it.

I haven't flooded it. It works great. My problem is I have to halfway close the airflow before it will stop leaking at the threads.

What kind of bird is your avatar? Quaker parakeet, conure or parrot?

I love pet birds from the age of 10-45 I kept pet birds everything from zebra finch to a sun conure

I assume this is a clone you are reviewing. You should mention which manufacturer it came from. Sounds like you got a dud if the threads are rough.

While a syringe is easiest to fill it, it is possible to fill it with a bottle that has the finer "needle" plastic tip if you are patient.

You might try using the SS Tank. It may alleviate your leaking issue. It's pretty easy to tell when it needs a refill.....the vape sucks. ;)

Why do you hate dual coils?

He is a Yellow Crowned Amazon. Wild caught and imported into the US in 1983. So he's at least 32, but I'll never know his real age. His name is Pete.

I've also had birds my entire life. Aside from Pete I also have a Nanday conure and two Congo African Greys.

You should at least try duals on your Aqua. Its a very flavorful atty and vapes very well at 20-25W, so not a cloud machine.

Thanks but no thanks. Once you burn a coil it tastes horrible until you re wick.

I like to see how much juice I have left.

Switching to a Stainless tank would not help. It's not leaking at the PolyCarbonate threads but the steel threads at air flow control.

Roxy Pete is a beautiful bird. If I could have one I would. Birds have problems with drafts. I live in a 34 foot long RV with three slide outs in winter it can be drafty

I have made dual coils on assorted attys but I simply don't enjoy them.

If it's me I'm gonna rock single coil.

Actually that's not true about drafts, but obviously none of us find that comfortable in the winter.

My v2 clone started the leak around the pin but not bad. I can crank it way open as well, without leaking. Sorry to hear you got a bad one, but I have actually started using the Aqua V1 more again. The original has less options but I seem to be getting better flavor from it. Then again maybe I'm just tired of looking at the v2 and its all in my head, lol.

TwoBears: it seems like you have a lot of problems with leaking across devices. Can you post a picture of your builds? We might be able to help diagnose. Leaking is often a symptom of the build rather than the device. Not in every case... some devices are very finicky and clone issues can compound the problems, but the Aqua is not generally a leaker and the clones don't seem to have many issues of their own.

The AquaV2 is a great atomizer and I think it may actually lend a hand to easier diagnosis since the build deck is much more accessible compared to other tanks.

The wicking is more tedious since it is exposed with every fill, it has to be contained so it does not move around when you unscrew the tank portion. Despite this, once your wick is functional you should not experience any flooding after fills. Wick tails will depend on your liquid's ratio, but placing tails into the channels half way should work with most liquids. The main wick should be full off each end of the coil, basically telling you the density is right. You don't have to go crazy with big wick puffs off the coil, this can actually work against you.

I've had a few trials with this tank when I first received it. Roxy's clone thread is where I spend time to get my tank working well. I can post some pictures if you would like. I love this RTA.

Nice info on the Aqua(MattyTny) . It looks awesome as far as the machine work.Is the sale price still on? $20.00 seems great considering the other stores prices. I will be checking it out.

Look's like it's still in stock
Footoon - Aqua V2 – Local Vape- Costa Mesa Vape Shop and Online Vape Shop

I didn't get mine from this particular vendor, but I'm assuming it's the same as the FT OTM version I have. The thread posted about the AquaV2 from this vendor, Authentic Aqua V2 for $25 shipped... | E-Cigarette Forum looks promising and it's a steal at that price.
