quik, i think we operate on very similar wavelengths... i just received 2 square ft of 500 mesh (to back up the 1/2 sq ft i have remaining), 100ft 28 gauge kanthal (to go with other 50ft spool of 28, 50ft of 29ga, and 100ft of 31 gauge), an AGAT2 and a second RSST. I have on the way, 50ft spools of kanthal D ribbon in .8x.11mm and .5x.1mm, ss cable 7/19 in 2.45mm and 1.9mm flavors, another AGAT2 and an AGI (this doesnt include my shipment from fasttech which is a hodgepodge of mechs (sentinel, kts, k100), 2 chobras, batteries and drip tips). Looks like the only thing im missing from your rig is the 26 gauge, and the ceramic wick. I am going to get the 26 gauge if i am not satisfied with my .8mm ribbon which ill get by monday.

Also, steering back to the topic of the thread for a sec, anyone know what the burst discharges of an efest and aw 18350 are? I think continuous is about 6.4 and 7A(?), respectively. i was wondering if i run a .4 ohm or so coil with short, 3 second draws, would it kill the battery? my thinking says it probably will, just wanna double check.

also quik, i forgot, last item on the way, x-atty from s and s mods, check it out, looks pretty nice for 22 bucks

That's 10.5 amps but I don't know the actual continuous discharge rate on the 18350's. If you take the "50% over is safe for burst" mantra and the continuous discharge is 6.4A then you are over the limit buy a little bit. If it's 7A then you'd be at exactly 50% over @ 10.5A. They have the Kamry resetable vape fuses for sale @ exhalevapors.com for $3.58 right now. In this case a lot of people run down the batteries to say 4v, but really it'd just be safer to bump the coil to something like .55 or .6 ohms since it's inevitable that the resistance will drop a bit after use.

i'll try and keep it at .6ohms. but isnt it true that even a fresh battery on a top-line mod, not even a clone, would register a drop in voltage and rarely fire over 4v anyway? i've seen people do tests and it seemed that most mods fire around 3.7-3.9v under load. and i have some cheapo clones coming so i'm guessing it'll be closer to 3.7 or less even with a battery coming off the charger. is this correct?
