Are 510/901 Cartridges the same?

Still new here. been using cartomizers for first 28 days. Ordered 901 and 510 refill cartridges. THEY LOOK THE EXACT SAME TO ME. Are 510/901 Cartridges the same? Not cartomizers, cartridges? p.s. it is possible I suppose that they sent two boxes of the same thing by mistake cause the little boxes aren't marked. Will post a pic if need be. Thanks for all the help ECF.

They have the same thread but the 808 has holes in the battery to draw in air. While the 901 has the holes in the carto. So a 901 carto on a 808 may be too airy and 808 on a 901 battery will be hard to draw. There are work a rounds but I don't have any experience with them.

to answer your question OP: I believe they are the same. I know the drip tip for the 510 is the same one used on the 901.

You are correct, pupmaster. The cartridges are the same. The cartomizers are...as you know...different because of the threading. You can use the same cartridges on the 510 and 901.

I do understand, however, that in some cases they may fit a bit loosely, but are still usable either way.

You mean the plain plastic and and stuffing carts? They are either the same or very similar for the round tip carts. Their whistle tips may be different inside.

Their attys are different but the same diameter and about the same distance from open end to bridge. the atty threads are different (and in fact the opposite sex). A 901 atty can screw on a KR808D-1

Actually Guys, they are Not the same, but are close.. a 510 cart on a 901 atty will fit very loose..probably can use but it will fall off very easy. Pup you did not say which atty / battery you are using 510 or 901? I have both and a 510 cart will be slight large on a 901 and a 901 cart will be slightly small on a 510 atty. You can get adaptors for about 3 bucks to convert attys and batts..then you can use either cart/atty combo you what. as long as you have both attys as well.
